it is in order, we were a bit disappointed in the kitchen not the quality of food. the wee is terrible and at € with a beer on apero it is a bit expensive. we really loved seeing it on TV, francois served. the same menu since will try again

Nous sommes venus a 4 adultes, un enfant et un chien... Nous avons mangé sur la terrasse a l'ombre du tilleul un menu unique de qualite... une truite délicieuse et des produits fait maison dans la joie et la bonne humeur! Un très bon moment!!!

chez francoise has been close for many years and has always served similar agricultural foods. it is a popular suspicion at the village general store (and vice versa) and we have stopped several times there while in corsavy or near know that we eat too good value land.

this little restaurant, which you enter through the local epicerie in the quiet mountain village of Corsavy, offers a course prix fixe blow-out meal with homemade charcuterie, fresh mountain trout, omelette with local mushrooms, guinea fowl and bottomless wine bottle. They have been serving...the same menu here for over years and you will feel like you have taken a trip back into time before big box stores and franchise restaurants overran France. go for a Sunday dinner! this type of restaurants will die with the older generation (which in le tech has already closed with the rest of the owner). veronique, the woman who serves is fantastic and terrible good fun. they have. a set menu of curses that do not change yes, it is always the same. that is a part of what it stands for old French couples. I don't want to spoil the fun by telling you what's on the menu. go and enjoy an authentic old-fashioned lunch experience in France. please sit on the terrace when it is beautiful. wein included, but coffee is not. menu is euro and worth every penny!

Chez Francoise is in the small town of Corsavy that clings to the side of a mountain in the Pyrenees. It is a few kilometres from Arles sur Tech and perhaps from the Spanish border. It is simple restaurant fronted bu a small deli....There is a fixed menu. On our visit the menu was Charcuterie, much of it locally made with local bread, Trout from the local moutain streams perfectly cooked with a clever chilli sauce that enhanced rather than cremated the fish, a mushroom omellete simply outstanding and the piece de resistance Roast Guinea Fowl. This restaurant is in a tiny picturesque village on the slopes of the Canigou above Arles sur Tech. It is behind a little grocery shop, and has a little vine covered terrace and a simple white dining room. There is a carte but the main...event is the Menu de Tradition, a five course blow-out with unlimited wine comprised more or less entirely of produce from the village. We had: air dried ham, saucisson and a pâté rich with black truffle; trout from the river; an omelette with eggs from the hens outside and cepes from the forest; a roast guineafowl with carrots and salad, and a divine creme caramel.
