"Excellent value for what you get. I would have rushed a little more variety in the menu but as bistro fare goes, everything was prepared to the best standard. My sausage and potato with a Dijon mustard drizzle was simple but classy and my lamb chops cooked pink inside and nicely crisped on the outside were very nice. Heated plates!! My eternal gripe at many (even fine dining restaurants was quashed immediately. The wine list is very representative of all of the regions of France, with a preponderance of Bordeaux in all its sub-regions. We opted for a Cornas (Burgundy) which was lovely and finished off with an Armagnac. Service very warm, if slightly erratic at times but a lovely, lively restaurant we’ll recommend to our friends"

we went for a quick lunch, the food was great, we had the cod and duck guide main courses. the brot was also delicious! but they were left off by the slow and unstoppable service. worth a visit, but make sure they get their attention!
