"Chez Simonne was an unexpected discovery. We were wandering around the 8eme looking for ham, cheese and a few glasses of wine when out of nowhere we found this little place selling just (and only) that. One of the owners quickly offered us a glass a rosé while we were waiting for a table to free up, and although it didn't, they showed us to the back of the super small place where we took possession of a table with a huge platter of charcuterie, fromages, pain et beurre; which we devoured effortlessly because it was delicious, and well, the fact that our glasses kept being refilled with wine might've helped a bit. All in all a fabulous place to have a quick lunch or dinner at."

chez simonne was an unexpected discovery. we wandered around looking for ham, cheese and a few glasses wein when we found out nowhere this little place that sells only (and only) that. one of the owners quickly offered us a glass. a rosé, while we waited for a table to free, and although it is not, they showed us on the back of the super small square, where we were in possession of a table with a huge plaque of charcuterie, piousness, pain and regret, which we were effortless because it was delicious, and good, the fact that our glasses could be filled with wein again. everything in a fabulous place to have a quick lunch or dinner.

Went to Chez Simone several times in September. The first time was a group of Its a small place with around inside tables so book ahead if you can. The menu is small as well entrees and plats per day...that changes daily. I had a boudin noir entree that was absolutely sublime amazing taste and consistency. Tried the poitrine de cochon (pork belly) that was cooked to perfection with a rich sauce. The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. I like the trend of small restaurants with manageable menus. The chef seems to focus on meat dishes with excellent results. Second time we dined here the meal was just as good. Highly recommended.
