Chez Toto - Menu

We had a wonderful dinner on our first night in Montpellier. Lovely outside seating and charming host! The food and wine were excellent.

It was a wonderful experience. The manager is very nice and the food was great. We tried a lot of things. Coup de coeur.....the scallops (gratin). It was amazing.

this opposite of montpellier is not far from the hectic of the market on rue de la loge, but it is quiet with many attractive small restaurants. we have chosen chez toto and I am glad that we have done it because the server charlie

The restaurant is cosy with very friendly and extremely helpful host. She was genuinely interested in her customers, wanted us to feel good not only in her restaurant, but Montpellier itself, The food was delicious, so the wine and limonccelo. I would recommend the restaurant...and go back next time I'm in the city.

I visited here in the new year holiday. Oyster is very fresh and delicious. My wife does no t like fish or oyster and the chef prepared vegetarian food even if no vegetarian menu exist. Very kind staff and friendly owner and local guys are...here. So, I left the restaurant with very good mood and full satisfaction with my stomach and wish my vegetarian wife.

we had high hopes as the menu looked interesting and the ambiente was well ordered and served drinks. starter came and only half of what we ordered, we imagined the rest would follow, but no. and nobody bothered to check. we were happy or had everything we ordered. then had to wait an eternity for main courses, but unfortunately it was not worth waiting and you never made it to our table. we complained at the end and got another drink, but we came open for eating and would rather have what we ordered and in time. it was a rather frustrating experience!

toto is one of the best restaurants in montpellier and serves excellent seafood. in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, the service remains attentive and efficient. the menu of muriel and patrick offers a great selection of excellent seafood with traditional and innovative options, On...the raw side is the garnelentare and fresh bouzigues oysters, while they can also taste the delicious baked oysters that are my favorites. the most important courses depend on the regular daily collections, but they also find delicious traditional dishes from the region. I recommend visiting toto while visiting montpellier.

I was drawn to Chez Toto and le Bar Bar by the reviews before I even got to Montpellier, but the reality was beyond my expectations. Besides having a wine list, and the real knowledge to engage it, the menu concentrates on the Languedoc-Roussillon seafood...in a way I find unsurpassed. The lady who took us in hand suggested the Tellines , tiny little clams in a salty, savory sauce, a dish I had heard of but never had. A savory suprise: delightful! Oysters and sea snails over ice were a sybaritic pleasure, and while my seafood soup (with pink aoili and crustini) was very, very good, my partner's Coquille st Jacques was excellent beyond description. We went there on a Thursday night. It was a rainy day therefore the restaurant had no tables outside. Inside these is room for 12 people without claustrofobia. Chez Toto has a menu in French and English and is specialized in very fresh seafood. We...had a self chosen seafood platter including escargot's de mer pointu's). Afterwards the waiter was interested whether we desired a hot main course or not. He managed the restaurant all by himself, 1 person doing all the labourous work of making seafood platters.
