Spicy goodness. Desperate to revisit and try what we didn't have on our first visit. 10/10 pork rib soup with chilli is a must have.

This place is my favourite place in Bristol. It is incredible and I have made many many failed attempts to replicate the amazing dishes myself. Run, don’t walk! Yum yum yum!

No faults, we always come back here for a quick meal after gym/yoga. The dishes are really simple but good. It was a bit odd to order on the tablet, pick up your food, and eat in the cafe/restaurant at first. But the noodle dishes in traditional broth were fantastic, allowing you to customize your ingredients and spice level. The menu also included delicious dumplings at a reasonable price. Definitely recommend visiting this place.

Had read mixed reviews so wanted to try it myself. Was not dissatisfied. The ordering system in the restaurant is on the screen very easy and it clearly lists what is cold or hot so no confusion. You collect your order and there is enough seating. The pork rib hotpot with spice level 3 was perfect. You also get a qr code with money on it to use next time.

The food at this restaurant is both delicious and authentic! I always order the stewed beef hotpot with a spice level of 3, which is perfect for me. My friend tried the tofu option and loved it. We also shared the chili oil vegetable dumplings, which were delicious. I usually get takeout from this place, but dining in for the first time was a great experience. This is the worst meal I have had in Bristol during the 18 months I have been working here. The fried meat dumplings were greasy and the meat had the texture of spam, but lacked flavor. The topping on the chicken noodle hotpot resembled mechanically reclaimed meat rather than minced chicken. The broth was bland, with most of the flavor coming from the chilli oil slick floating on the surface. The portion size was large, but I would prefer to trade quantity for quality.

I enjoyed chilli daddy. You order your food on a machine and get given a number, when your number says ready for collection you go to the counter and get your food. This was a bit different to most restaurants but seemed to work well. The whole place and a fun and unique vibe which I really liked. You can bring in your own drinks as well which is great if you want to save money. I enjoyed the food but wasn’t blown away by it. It was tasty but not the best ever. Very reasonably priced though, especially considering the portion sizes! They are huge!

It was very busy when we went, and the tables were sticky from previous diners which was off-putting. All staff work behind the counter, and you have to collect your food from the hatch if eating in or taking away. You then have to take your plates when finished and put them on a station. As such, didn't see a single server come out from behind the counter the whole time we were there. The food was just ok. I had spare ribs noodle hotpot. There was no meat on the tiny bones at all, just gristle and bone. My wife had stewed beef noodle hotpot, and, in contrast, she enjoyed her meal. We won't be returning. View menu
