Truly AWFUL without doubt the worst Chinese take away I’ve ever had. Spent over £100 Squid inedible, duck, ribs, rice ribs dry. Spring rolls soggy. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I am just stumped reading all those bad reviews! I’ve just finished a very tasty and delicious meal from China Magic. And I will definitely try different dishes as well. I am not sure if I was lucky but my duck was really fresh and delightful.

Absolutely love this place!!! I live opposite and can’t get enough of the chicken chow mien, I would have it everyday if it wasn’t for the scrumptious pizzas you can also get. Can’t wait to order this weekend but just can’t decide which side I’m going to go yet. Nick. S

Ordered a delivery when visiting a friend. The food came quickly and was piping hot in a mini house box. It was tasty and plentiful. There was only 1 downside where they put a different nut in the box as per their menu. This wasn’t really an issue as more than happy to eat every last bit. Would definitely use them again as they also have a high food standards rating.

Horrible food. I had satay beef, orange chicken, szechuan chicken and noodles. The beef barely tasted of satay and made my partner feel ill. The orange chicken was tasteless and dry and the szechuan chicken was barely edible. The szechuan sauce was horrible and vinegary and I had to throw away the chicken. The noodles were the best part of the dish. Avoid like the plague!!

Without the WORST CHINESE TAKEAWAY I have ever had. I'm furious with myself for mot checking the reviews first. Crappy chicken balls, hardly any duck vile sour sweet and sour sauce, chow mein not with proper noodles and non seasoned prawns thrown on top, dry hard squid in inedible batter, FOUL FOUL FOUL. Please people I have taken a mouthful of each and thrown it all in the bin I'm still expecting to spend the night with my head in the toilet DO NOT USE THIS PLACE SHOULD BE CLOSED DOWN IF I COULD GIVE IT MINUS STARS I WOULD. REVOLTING .

Not sure why this restaurant has garnered some bad reviews. We use this place all the time and have found the food to be of good quality and reasonably priced. We ordered early this evening and were given an arrival time guess what they delivered 20 minutes early. We have found though, over the last few months of the COVID delivery period that sometimes restaurants get busy weekends, bank holidays. So it does pay to order as early as you can and not get too p@ssed off it the food takes longer than expected. Anyways we've always had good service and food from China Magic.

Poor "Ordered a delivery via Deliveroo. Hot Sour Soup, 1/4 Crispy Duck Meat Spring Rolls. Delivery came in the stated time then it went down hill. Opened bag (1) No Hot Sour Soup, (2) No 1/4 Duck, (3) Spring Rolls Burnt. I contacted China Magic and told them about the lack of content. I was told that they had no 1/4 Duck (I find this unbelieveable for a chinese restaurant). I mentioned the missing soup and they told me to check the bag, I did but it had not magically appeared. I was then told to go to Deliveroo for a refund. Shocking experience, poor customer service by the restaurant who should not have taken the order if they did not have the food ordered. I called the restuarant before placing an order as a had a couple of quick questions on the dishes as the titles are so vague but i wanted to try something different. I wanted to know if the mandarin chicken had batter on it, which the man replied yes and then i asked if it was the thin batter of the kind with the sweet and sour pork balls (which i hate), at that point he said thank you goodbye in an angry tone and hung up?? Crazy customer service, obviously i never ordered with them and went elsewhere which is a shame because I liked that they gave fortune cookies with the delivery.
