"Superb Sicilian cuisine!! We drove to Castelmola on the recommendation of our hotel. Upon arrival at the top, there is a restaurant busy with tourists on a viewing platform...ignore it! Continue in Castelmola and you come across Gallo Cedrone. Ricardo was an amazing cook/host that is very passionate about eating. We had a pizza and the eggplant abomatin with Parmesan. Bruchetta as a start was a pleasure to load olive oil and beautiful tomatoes with warm crunchy bread. Simple Sicilian food made to an incredibly high standard, with a beautiful view of Etna. Best restaurant in Sicily so far"

"quality of ingredients: Great. fresh fish, top quality ingredients. the first were fabulous: abundant, very tasty, definitely better than the average. the waiter was immediately friendly, kind and helpful. the location is very beautiful and elegant, with attention to detail and typical Sicilian elements. Cemetery position and breathtaking view, on the sea of taormina. lunch here was a pleasure, both for the palate and for the eyes!"

"All right: the place is really nice, friendly and helpful staff, we ate very well, meatballs, cannoli, everything. but the absolute protagonists of the dinner were them: the macaroni to the black pig spider and ****. I think this dish fits into my top ten of favorite foods. absolutely nothing to say. exceptional."

"Despite its location in what feels like the Olive Garden's interpretation of authentic Sicily, tourist mecca Taormina, I had a really good experience at Rosmarino. There were no tables available but we were able to put our name in for 45 minutes later during what would typically be peak dinner time, although this is after the cruise ship crowd clears out of town. Luckily, Rosmarino is situated directly across the street from Taormina's public gardens so it was a pleasant wait. A table on the terrace allowed us to continue enjoying the view during dinner. What I ate was excellent. While I was too busy enjoying my meal to make detailed observations, I can wholeheartedly recommend both the caserecce al sugo (fresh handmade pasta in pork ragu) and rotolini alla messinese (beef involtini with cheese and breadcrumb filling)."

"We visited the restaurant for a birthday dinner and it was the most incredible experience as well as absolutely beautiful food. The location and setting is stunning and the staff made us feel like a million dollars! Our server Lucia was particularly amazing so attentive, friendly and really wanted us to have a great time (which we of course did! The food is excellent, and yes it is expensive but completely worth it for a special occasion or treat as it is an great experience as well as a lovely meal."
