"Borious and rude owner. in the kitchen nothing of that indeed, dishes exaggeratedly decanted but once tasted they are absolutely in the average tending to the insipido. local with a simple but nice atmosphere also because almost always empty. altini prices considered portions. we returned in 4, arrived to the dessert the owner begins to decantate a long detailed list in the preparation, when, after 5 minutes of monologue, how to order a girl interrupts him to make his choice; these indisputed for interruption leaves the table and returns to the kitchen by ignoring us for a good 15 minutes. paid the bill I feel like asking the classic all well, to which I introduce him politely, the cafone gets warmed up and starts to pound that if we don't listen to him he has anything else to do. tragicomic. In my opinion unacceptable behaviour, especially towards a lady, could apologize and would end there. worsened as many of the latest reviews confirm. Stay away"

Beautiful food, handmade pastas were perfectly cooked. Wine and desert were selected by the owner and paired very well. Overall a wonderful experience. View menu

What more to say than this place was so good we had to come back the second night! from the food, to the service, to the wine and attention to detail! Do not go pass this place it is one of the best meals...and experience we've had on all out travels! Thank you from Australia!

recommended. an intimate place suitable for couples but also for groups of middle-aged friends, in fact small and quiet, with refined but simple menu at the same time and exceptional raw materials. Manager/owner very kind. warm and reassuring furnishings, typical Milan. prices ok. comfortable position under each point of view.

A fantastic little restaurant in the Porto Romano district. The host was most gracious and genuinely humbled by my enjoyment of the food. Delicious and traditional Italian food with all pasta homemade and the risotto made to order. All fresh ingredients and care is taken...to ensure everything is homemade, right down to the bread. Highly recommended! View menu

the place is very nice, warm. list of good wines, inviting menu, although not all dishes were available. Unfortunately, however, I cannot give a better assessment because I ate the worst spaghetti to the clams of my life (until now.) I do not recommend it and will not return. average/high prices. the owner is a little too full of himself. It's amazing how the 5 stars rain. Probably customers never really ate well in a restaurant.

small restaurant <50 covered in which they produce pasta and bread at home and you feel the difference of fresh artisan pasta compared to industrial pasta. the dishes are good and the owner is very courteous. if you have to find a defect are the non-updating of the menu on the website that is not true, like the one present on the fork. I thought I'd come to a club and get some food, but I had to get more. prices are not cheap but are also consonant to quality, 14-16 euros for the first and 18-24 for the second. at the end about 40-50 euros per head for a dinner.

"Visited months ago The label of a vegetarian restaurant absolutely does not correspond to what Joia represents in the Italian gastronomic panorama. We are talking about the maximum expression of haute cuisine, overwhelming ideas, bold and unexpected combinations, exceptional raw materials, all served in an exclusive environment suitable for providing customers with a fantastic experience. Chef Leemann showed up in person to take the order and give his suggestions on the sequence of dishes. The service staff has always proven to be very prepared to answer all our questions or curiosities about the dish itself and this knowledge was not only the heritage of the waiter who brought the dish to our table and described it to us, but of all the staff who, even randomly, we stopped to ask for further explanation! The wine list was excellent from which we chose a Barbera d 'Alba by Bartolo Mascarello. But let 's get to the food. As entrees... and calling them entrees is definitely limiting! We were offered 2 wonderful tastings which unfortunately I cannot remember in their composition, but the first was a cream with carrot and rhubarb served in a mini terracotta vase, while the second appeared like a palette of colors where some fantastic raw materials sauces could be combined manually. My lunch then began with the Cantiam la montanara where, under a soft celery foam, there was a composition of green asparagus, spring onion and truffle on chopped borlotti beans. Fantastic dish, sublime with exceptional aromas!. I then continued with The navel of the world , a wonderfully plated dish where two types of rice are used, one as a base made with asparagus and watercress, and in the center a Venere rice cake finished on top with saffron almond cream . Finally I closed the lunch with a selection of 8 cheeses, some of which were truly exceptional, accompanied by jams/honey. Obviously the bill is in line with the proposal and with the experience. I must say that it was truly a pleasure and an honor."
