A late lunch/tea time respite in the shade of umbrella seating. Simple but tasty lunch options and a cute cream tea. Slightly slow but friendly service.

Turned away by incredibly rude waitress who claimed there was no space, despite there being several tables available. It looked cramped and noisy inside. Would not recommend.

I took some clients here and was very impressed with the premises. The food was excellent and the staff very friendly and professional. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to have a lovely time. Many thanks to Mr Alberto and his team.

This quaint sidewalk tea place was wonderful. The afternoon tea was everything we expected it to be with a wonderful atmosphere. The soldiers marched down the street a block away and the proprietor saved our table while we ran down to watch. I highly recommend this little shop.

Stopped in for cream tea in the afternoon after seeing all the great reviews but found it to be just average at best. The scones were fairly good but the tea itself was not very flavorful for Earl Grey. The smoothies were similarly just okay. Perhaps other menu items are better but if you’re looking for a good English tea, try some place else. View menu

We stopped at Clarence for lunch while visiting Windsor and we can’t say enough about this restaurant. It was highly recommended by one of the guards at the entrance to Windsor Castle and she was so right! We had the chicken, mushroom, and cheese crepes and one of the fancy cream teas with sandwiches, and everything was wonderful. The friendliness of the owners and staff must be mentioned! They were so accommodating and personable.

We’ve been here before and sat inside which is very nice but due to hot weather sat outside under umbrella. Cream Tea was delicious, the scone was warm and tasted freshly baked, soft inside. As I don’t like cold egg the chef did ham finger sandwich to go with the cucumber and cream cheese sandwiches. A popular place but a problem in the kitchen meant quite a wait and I’d finished my tea by the time the scone etc arrived so ordered more. Friendly, accommodating staff. A nice atmosphere and right near Windsor Castle.

"We were visiting Windsor and read the good reviews about this place and were so pleasantly surprised to find such cosy and beautiful place . The food was delicious. Lots of starters to choose from. We had squid and warm salad for starters... The squid...was so delicious and beautifully cooked, and had subtle spicey chilly and onion dressing. I had warm salad and the pork just melted in my mouth . For our mains we had steaks , sirloin and rib eye and my partner said this is the best steak he had ever had in UK . The mushroom sauce I had was so authentic just perfect. The sides of duck fat chips and cauliflower cheese are must try ! I never though that I'd love cauliflower but I'm already a fan after trying WG's special side of cauliflower cheese. Generous portions and such lovely staff ! They made us feel welcomed always with smile on their faces and very knowledgeable and chatty as well. The whole atmosphere in the restaurant was relaxed and it had real good vibe .The play list was such a nice addition to our experience , such good mix of all types of music. We were sat at the table close to the bar, and we've noticed that the whole place is decorated with good taste and attention to detail. This place is a true gem honestly , and I'm not surprised now that they have so many stars reviews ! We will definitely come back when visiting Windsor again ! My sincere compliments to the chefs as well ! We've learned that the owner of the restaurant is the Chef at the kitchen so what a delight , when so much attention to details is payed to food ! You created a food momento that we will not forget ."
