Comptoir Libanais Poland Street

It's a lovely spot with great decor. The food is delicious and offers a wide variety of choices. The falafel is incredibly tasty, and the wraps are quite generous in size.

The beautifully carved chicken taouk was surprisingly moist, and the delicious aubergine tagine complemented it perfectly. We shared both dishes, and they made for a fantastic combination.

Excellent chain. Always great food. Have been in 3 more and the quality is the same in all of the restaurants. Fast and kind services. Choices for vegans and vegetarians. Hallumi is awesome. Also the pickle.

The meze platter had variety and was very tasty. Recommend highly. The fish and rice was also delicious. Didn’t like the lamb balls… something about the texture. Could done with 2 platters really! Service is friendly and casual so do not expect fast service. I’d definitely this cuisine.

Food was good, service was relatively fast, the waiter was courteous but not overly friendly. We ordered kebab wrap and shish tawook platter. The wrap seemed pre prepared and just heated. The most didn't seem well done. The Hummos was very good. The side salad was bland, but healthy. Nice outdoor seating area when the weather permits.

Booked a table for 4 as we were celebrating a family birthday. Chose this particular branch as it is central we like the interior layout. Staff were welcoming on arrival as we had arrived before 7pm we were able to take advantage of the 2 for 1 cocktails offer. We ordered a Meze to share several other dishes including lamb tagine. All our food was delicious and the portions were generous. Staff were attentive helpful but not overly so. We will return and highly recommend this branch!

Delicious Lebanese cuisine in central London! The restaurant features a lovely interior and friendly staff. I didn’t need to make a reservation for a table. The prices are quite reasonable. There's a counter-style bar for takeout orders. We ordered the mezze platter for two, along with a few additional mezze dishes, and the total came to a good £70 for four people, including drinks. The quality of the food is definitely acceptable, with the hummus rated at 4/5. The mezze were tasty, though a bit on the dry side. One nice touch is the free flatbread refills. The staff's friendliness was a big reason why I’m giving this place a five-star rating!

I had been hesitant to check out this branch since I haven't quite gotten over the closure of Comptoir Libanais in John Lewis, which was undoubtedly the best family dining experience in London. Their children's menu truly set the bar when it comes to quality, flavor, and pricing across all restaurants. I even tried revisiting Carluccio's and similar places, but none could match that standard. Although I didn’t see any of the staff from Comptoir Libanais at John Lewis, I did meet the manager, Edith, and her colleague Aggi. Their warm welcome and excellent service were comparable to the best, confirming that Tony Kitous has a team to be proud of. I plan to try the Wigmore Street location next...

I wanted to like this place. The staff were lovely and the place itself was cute. Maybe eating in is a different experience to taking out. But I was very disappointed with the steaming hot salad in my take away wraps. Who in the history of eating has ever wanted hot salad? I appreciate that they maybe need to get food out the door quickly. But the way to do that is not to heat up the salad along with the meat in a wrap. That is frankly disgusting. I wonder if the owner/manager has ever eaten on of these preprepared reheated in the microwave/oven wraps? I should have realised when I saw the preprepared wraps and the microwave/ovens behind. What an idiot I was. Oh well. I imagine eating in is...
