"Took my friend out for her birthday, we arrived 10 minutes early and were told to wait by the bar. Our table was booked for 3.15 and we didn’t get seated until 3.20. Once seated we were left for 25 minutes before I had to call someone over to take our order. No one even came to ask for drinks. I’d understand if there was a lack of staff but the management were stood around chatting and the guy who was serving our section was busy. The food came which was great but again no one came back to check on us, we had an afternoon tea and the tea ran out after one cup each. Again I had to call someone over after trying to get someone’s attention. At this point I was embarrassed as I wanted a nice experience for my friend and it wasn’t, it was slow, messy and the staff were inattentive. My local Ivy in Cardiff has never ever given me an experience like this so I was upset that I didn’t just take my friend there. On a side note, I was told previously that the Ivy is a dog free zone they let a dog into the restaurant in someone’s pram so is this not a country wide rule? Overall I wouldn’t visit again, I’ll stick to my local Ivy. The staff were slow and nothing about the trip was worth the money or special."

"Don’t get me wrong I like Daylesford a lot and I am a supporter since their opening in Notting Hill. Daylesford stands for quality food and is more on the expensive side…. However, recently they broke a new record by serving their specials lunch for £22 with 5 small shrimps (not joking very small) and a tasteless green salad without sauce that seem to come straight out of a grocery bag….ah and a bottom of the plate a loveless thrown portion of mayonnaise. I am used to Daylesford prices but this one was stretching it a bit too far I thought. Hence my overall 2 stars. Service great as always and general vibe great as usual as well. I hope their menu team is rethinking their specials strategy a bit more in the future…."

"The food was ok; we were a little disappointed as we had previously eaten in your Chelsea restaurant and I was raving about the chicken moussakhan. Three of us wanted the dish on our visit to Manchester, but unfortunately it wasn't available that night. Otherwise the food was ok. It was the service that was really poor. We asked for extra flatbreads and despite being quiet they took a long time to arrive perhaps 20 minutes, we had to ask 3 times for them. Customer service was poor we weren't asked once if we had had a good meal. It was rather disappointing really as it was a birthday treat for 3 of our guests, which I had stated in the booking. Unlike some restaurants no mention of our birthdays were made"

"The food was excellent although I think it is more of a café breakfast and lunch place rather than dinner. Unfortunately 35 minutes after ordering we were told the chef was having an issue with one of the dishes so could we please choose an alternative (we got free bread and olives whilst waiting). Then we waited a further 30 minutes for the food to arrive. The rose wine wasn't chilled (although they did pre warn us). We received no discount from the £78 bill (for 2 burgers and a bottle of wine). Overall sadly it was a little disappointing although the food was excellent, so perhaps a place for lunch rather than dinner."

"We called ahead yesterday after enjoying a drink, and ended our meal with the delicious bread and butter pudding with custard. My friends had the cheesecake with a unique twist, the scallops, and the lamb kebab. We also discovered the Moroccan mint tea with rose, which is a must-try. The staff was very attentive and friendly. We will definitely be returning for our next visit to London."

"Love this place, first went there a few months ago. Needless to say it 's position was sooooper overlooking the Thames, it 's barges, boats n swans paddling up n down. The Lebanese brekkies are fantastic and u gotta have that spiced hot chocolate with baclava in too! Service fab, love the murals and authentic style. Competition is tough down there I guess but this has something 'different ' It 's fresh!"

"although the restaurant was not overcrowded, eating was delivered in the wrong order, our cots come at the same time as our main courses. the main course was very poor cod with Thai curry was cold and tasteless (an achievement to make a curry so bland! I ordered as a page, described as 'old grains', which turned out to be quinoa, why not say so on the menu? again it was cold and tasteless. the restaurant confirms itself as open to 10 o'clock, but until 9.15 the staff began to turn the air conditioning so that it was so cold we had to wake up our hunting, even if we had not finished our meal, turn off the lights and begin to clean adjacent tables and clean the floor of the kitchen area we sat near. overall the attitude was involuntary, and eating (compared to what I bought in the deli in the past was very bad. I wouldn't eat there again or recommend to others to do this."

"Staff are very efficient and friendly. The place is tired, outdated seats are all stained. The staff are admirable, as being in this particular location customers can be demanding. In particular philippa (pip), Rebecca and Beth all smiled and were courteous in dealing with some particularly difficult customers. Hats off to them. "Bluewater was very busy in general and the restaurant did not like the fact we had booked via open table. Although our table for was accepted we did not get seated until The starter was quick but we did not get out mains until No free bread or olives were offered despite us continually asking how much longer they were going to be. The price was the very expensive for a few lamb kofte burgers although we did have to keep ordering drinks to get us through until our food finally came out. Food was good although some of our groups food was cold but we daren't send it back as everyone was famished."

"The food was alright. Expensive for what it is really small portions of meat, over generous with rice. Small starters and desserts. It was a bit bland and boring. The food came quickly enough but the table service was slow, we were there 2.5 hours! I had to get up and chase the waitress across the restaurant to ask for the bill. They add the service charge on, so you would have to request it’s removed if you don’t agree with it. The restaurant is decorated nicely though, has a nice atmosphere."

"I booked this place for my Mum's birthday lunch, 12 of us in total. It had been recommended highly by a friend and it didn't disappoint. Our waiter was very attentive and always made sure we had enough drinks. He was able to cater for my Gluten Free dietary requirements with ease and everyone enjoyed their meal. They also kept my Mum's cake in their fridge for us and brought it out at the end with a song and lots on enthusiasm. We al enjoyed our time here and I would definitely go again."
