"Won't be going back which is a great pity but after yesterday's events it was way of the wire. We were having our coffee and low and behold this squawking member of staff let out this screaming and laughing that would put Alison Hammond to shame.it was disturbingly weird. It seems the staff are a way bit to immature the oldest one with hair tied up was excruciating.and the stout laddie clearing the tables was as bad they were mocking a member of the public in buying a costa coffee for wee bit peace like we do. The members of staff were horrid and slouching about while place needed tables cleared.it was bang out of order. The laughing hyena even boasted she might get reported but doesn't care. Well nor do wee as we will spend our money in the new Starbucks much more pleasant and not full of bullying staff. Sad but we used to like costa montrose.Time for serious management in there."

Hubby always uses Costa if in Montrose. Coffee and hot chocolate very tasty. Downside is the long queues waiting to get served.

Hot water urn or machine broken so they couldn’t do any drinks with hot water. Not sure why they couldn’t boil water in the milk frothing jugs. Apart from that it’s a normal Costa

Had a mocha and an espresso. Both tasted nice. The disappointing part was the customer service. Staff just seemed chaotic and all over the place. It was so busy that you couldn’t even get a space to sit. One word to describe this Costa Coffee was mayhem.

I have been here more than once and every time, the service is the slowest I've received in any Costa I've ever been in. This seems to be the case regardless of whether it is busy or quiet and regardless of how many staff there are. It makes no sense. I also find some of the staff to be quite rude and none of them are particularly friendly. The food and drink is standard Costa fare as expected.
