"eating was excellent, we sat on the back in comfortable table/seat area, and although surrounded by other tables, the ambiente was private with exactly the right amount of grace. Unfortunately, our waiter, though efficient, was quite tactless boundary line rude: when we after a cork half full wine bottle (for me and mean to enjoy after the return to home) we were treated like pavement and said that all cork in the am! later she also ignored our signals to win her attention behavior was a big farewell to an otherwise excellent eating. However, we have addressed the problem with the manager, who has been treated extremely politely and competently with the situation by listening to our constructive feedback, that our aim is to ensure that this does not happen in the future with other diners, as we know that waiters have to be trained and must be alerted to how to deal with dining room customers, it is not enough to get the order right and get the order right. we left the thing with the manager who kindly thanked us for the feedback. to our surprise when the bill has arrived, we get a free 10% discount on the bill and another insurance that the waitress will be appropriately informed / trained on how to treat in future with customers. all in all we go back for the excellent eating and ambiente, and we recommend definitiw this restaurant. many thanks to the amazing customer relations skills of the attentive manager in responsibility this evening."

cote is one of the most consistent restaurants in london- I have been fed there for over 10 years and only once I had a meal that I did not enjoy. great eating, great ambiente, great worth- highly recommended

Visited for breakfast on the way to the Wimbledon tennis tournament. We arrived early but were welcomed and offered a choice of tables. We chose the champagne breakfast option, food was OK and they were happy to swap ingredients in one of the choices. We couldn’t have the champagne initially as it was before 10 o’clock and we did have to chase it up in the end which is why I have given a lower service score. Think there are better options for breakfast in the area.

There were fruit flies all over the place. So disruptive and uncomfortable. Service was intermittent. At first it was rushed and then couldn’t get attention of waiting staff for ages. Went to pay the bill and was told they don’t accept cash. We weren’t informed of this once. Have been here a a few times before and usually service and food is good quality. However, this time, I was pretty disappointed and embarrassed in front my my guests after recommending this restaurant for our get-together.

the food was good, the fishparmentier was mainly moorish and the refurb looks great, but the whole experience was unhappy fast and the service was not very warm. we would like to have finished our short cocktails before we drink them next to our appetizers and maybe finish our bottle of wine with/after our meal before we offered the desert. no brot served with the cuddles (in a lot of broth) so had to order separately. only all badly executed and felt like we were shaking it in a timer instead of enjoying a relaxed Friday dinner.
