Booked a meal today . The Beef Wellington was simply the best . Living in Clapham we've always passed, but never called in . This visit was well worth it .

This restaurant is amazing. The food and wine are both delicious, and the staff is lovely. I highly recommend this place - it's not your average pub food. The lamb kofta was particularly excellent.

This place was just wonderful from start to finish. Great kern appeal as you drive in. Staff were pleasant and professional. The interior was well presented. The menu had something for everyone. Stopped for a Sunday lunch on the way back from the Lakes. Sat in dog friendly bar area and food arrived really quickly, decent portions and well cooked meat. Then had 2 x Mini puds and nice coffees. Staff friendly and relaxed atmosphere- was fine in walking gear and boots. Gravy could have been better but that was the only downside.

A group of friends and I completed the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge. The Craven Arms was only 10 minutes away from the finish line of the walk, which was very convenient. The staff were excellent and very friendly. The food was delicious and we even received breakfast included with our overnight stay. We will definitely return in the future.

We arrived at 19.00 and find a large family party celebrating a birthday. We thought the service would suffer but it didn't. The food was lovely, and even better the fish pie was gluten free and they did a small size and a larger size with an assortment of fresh cooked vegetables. We stayed here last night after me and a group of friends did the Yorkshire three peaks challenge. We booked 5 rooms and all our party pre ordered food for tea after the walk. All staff were super friendly. The food was amazing and the rooms so comfy and cosy. The whole group said we would definitely return. Breakfast was amazing too. Couldn't fault a thing. My friends and I recently took on the Yorkshire 3 peak challenge and stayed at a hotel with nine of us. We booked rooms for the night, including dinner and breakfast, and were extremely pleased with the service we received. The staff were friendly and welcoming when we arrived, and our rooms were cozy, clean, and had very comfortable beds. We all slept soundly and were impressed with everything the hotel had to offer. The food was delicious and just what we needed after a long day of walking. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with great food and service. I will definitely be returning. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful experience.

Whilst staying in a holiday cottage a few hundred yards from The Craven Arms we spent a number of evenings in the pub. We were on holiday with our dog so we stayed in the bar area where dogs are permitted and we were able to eat. The restaurant area does not permit dogs. The selection of ales was good and the choice of food was enough for us to be able to vary our selection on each visit. The menu on a Sunday is different from that during the week. They also have a weekly special to go with the standard menu. Service was quick and friendly. The food was of a good standard and the cost very reasonable.
