"I've been here several times with my family on a Sunday. The carvery is nice. The price is good and the food is satisfying. I don't know if it's the price of the food or the location but it seems to attract folk who look like they belong in a late night channel 5 documentary. People who look like they just won a trolley dash around a sports shop. People dressed like they've been asleep in their clothes, and people who look like they inhabit a planet under a far higher gravity than earth. Then there's the slovenly mummies with their ferrel offspring, mashing their food into the table whilst their fish lipped, mahogany faced mothers commend them as loudly as possible every time their progeny quieten for 30 second. I saw a man finishing off a gigantic plate of tucker who looked like the molecules that made him would have taken up any particular space in which they were found. His overall appearance was that of something from the mind of Roal Dahl or Salvador Dali maybe. It's life Jim, but not as we know it. It's a shame really, but then again maybe it's just the modern world. The staff are friendly and the food is fine. As a sociological buffet at a reasonable price it's fantastic."
