"Myself and family stopped of here for dinner on the way home and wish we never did. Firstly we ordered three Pepsi max and one J20. 10 mins later the rude waitress (who name was Hannah I believe) came up to us and said they haven't got any Pepsi max just coke. So we got that changed. We then ordered our meal, 25 minutes later the same rude waitress came over and said the pie I ordered has now sold out so I need to pick something else. I wouldn't of minded but it had already been 25 mins by this point and only just telling me this now. Then nearly 30 minutes later our food finally arrived, Two gammon's came right, my gammon came with sweet potato fries which I did not order. When I questioned it they said they would fix the mistake but it would be another 10 mins. By this point it was nearly an hour after we first but the order in and did not want to wait any longer. We will not be going back there."

"I stopped by this restaurant on Tuesday, 10th October for a light meal. The food was enjoyable, but I was a bit surprised when I saw that the menu advertised adding a side of chips for £2, yet I was charged £4 on my bill. I questioned this discrepancy with the staff, and despite showing them the menu, I was still charged double what I should have been. Unfortunately, this left a sour taste in my mouth, and I ultimately decided not to leave a tip. It's a shame, as the atmosphere of the restaurant was pleasant."

"Sunday lunch here was insanely good, by far the best pub food I've had in years. Very good service too, attentive where needed but not over the top. *edit we've been back since and it was just as good : I've also seen reviews that say the building is fully wheelchair accessible, this is not strictly true, there is a tight turn and a step down through the front door but if you can't manage this they will open the extra bit on the conservatory door at the back for you no problem, this way in is fully level. The conservatory itself is very spacious but I wouldn't like to try and manoeuvre a larger electric chair or scooter through into the main building. Parking could also be an issue if you need to open your door wide, there are no disabled spaces."
