"Visited this gem of a tea room this morning for a quick cup of tea whilst out on a walk. Spied a gluten free ‘Chocolatey Chocolate Cake’ and took a slice home for later. WOW!!! Light as a feather, just the right amount of chocolate...and deliciously gorgeous to eat. It was by far the best gluten free cake my better half has eaten since becoming gluten free 7 years ago. Looks like there will be many more trips to Daisy’s as there are loads more gluten free items still to be tried….all in the cause of research of course. Looking forward to our next visit already. PS…even our dog Bailey was given dog biscuits!"

What a lovely friendly Tea Room. We dropped in for a drink and cake to get out of the rain. Great selection of cakes and the luxury salted caramel milkshake was delicious

such beautiful tea rooms were meant to try for old and was not disappointed. the best veggie breakfast I had in the old one. I like that they can choose a small or large part.

What a find! Daisy’s Tea Room sits on Church Street in Bishops Lydeard and is a real treasure. Excellent breakfast, lunch and ‘snack’ menu as well as cream teas. Good choice of gluten free options and some nice daily specials. Excellent value for money and...a bright, clean interior. We will definitely be returning soon. Also welcome dogs!

the weather was very hot and damp recently and I felt sick (36 weeks pregnant) drive from my horses to home, I had to stop halfway for a pick-up me was so happy that she had a small cozy table free for. herself and daughter, although busy it a very nice atmosphere, friendly and very friendly staff. the cakes were tasty, service was great, I will return with my new arrival very soon

disappointing this is a local caffe for us, so we decided to go for a cooked breakfast. had to wait over half an hour to eat, although there were only two small tables of customers. we had finished our drinks for a long time and were waiting for the food. we had two large cooked breakfast. Sauses and speck were completely boiled and without any moisture. our bill was £25... no music in the background also made for a strange atmosphere.

Looking for somewhere for lunch we found this lovely little cafe tucked away in the heart of Bishops Lydeard. We were greeted on arrival by friendly staff and shown to a table. Covid precautions were in place. We only wanted sandwiches and they were happy...to make them as we requested. We were particularly taken with the tea being served in china teacups. We both chose cakes from their display and I would be very surprised if they were not their own making. They were lovely. Yes, certainly a lovely little stop over and well worth a visit.

"What do you want me to say? there is probably not enough superlative to describe how delicious a food experience we had. how many people I wanted to eat here already, but last night all stared and we could get a table. the waitress who welcomed us was worried that the kitchen would not be able to cope with as they were a worker and the kitchen was busy with other tables. (we arrived at 21:30 on a busy Thursday without an extended booking after we checked with the kitchen that we showed on our table and warn that it was a 30 minute delay on eating. we ordered drinks and munched on Bombay mix while looking for the menu. nice not to choose from an enormous selection. I had garnel as starter and my partner had kabeljau. we also ordered our net. selection of chickens, lambs or vegetables thali with various beside dishes. I chose chicken partner to choose lamb....if the starter arrived (in less than 30 minutes we realized that we were there for something special. beautiful presentation and taste not disappointed. both cooked to perfection and full of aromas that did not mask the fish. then came the net. fabulous presentation of separate dresses that contain our chosen court and bombay aloo, raita, dhal and rice. there was a beautiful cone poppadom on the teller and we also shared a naan. it looked fantastic and tasted incredible. the dahl was so good that I had eaten a bowl of it alone. super delicious and beautiful spicy heat that does not exaggerate. our individual dishes were immediately shared with each other, as they were too good not to share. the poppadom was super crispy without fat and more taste than for a simple pop natural....a manifestation! lamb was melted in mouth and the chicken had a real chicken flavor. we have licked the bowls pretty clean. we had enough space for khulfi. 4 elections....Coconut, pistachios, rose and saffron and kardamom. we had two and were blinded by all. the pistachios and cocosnuss were really beautiful and the rose and juice card a really unusual joy, especially the rose. the whole experience was enchanting and we chatted with the cook (which was in the restaurant that talked to all the hunters and cook! how much we enjoyed the meal. Please visit this restaurant. it is worth every penny, and we look forward to going back and telling everyone we do the same."
