"A unique fish-themed evening We came here on a Thursday evening in August after some deliberation, reading between the lines of the TripAdvisor reviews. After a couple of phone calls explaining their ‘unique’ menu choices we booked a table. Upon arriving we ordered a pleasant voignier from local winery, Bauci, for €24 enoteca price €12.50). Our daughter had the homemade pasta with tomato sauce, a good provision on their part as she wasn’t obliged to have the set menu. As their website says, you are obliged to have all three starters €30 for the three) which change every day, depending on the fish caught and the imagination of the chef. A bit of a strange idea, but if you’re ok about being told what to eat, ok about spending €30 on antipasti and like us you’re not fussy about what you’re eating and willing to experiment, then all is good. In fact all three antipasti were very tasty. The orata cooked with potatoes and lemon in a plastic bag was a nice start. The squid and courgette soup was surprisingly good and the third, a courgette flower stuffed with monk fish the best dish of the evening. At this point you can then decide what to have next. 1 or 2 starters, €10 for 1 or €15 for 2) with or without a main course €15). We went for one starter each and one main course as there was only 1 choice of main course). The 2 pasta dishes, one with clams and mussels and the other with tuna were above average. The one main course was sea bass with aubergines. The sea bass unfortunately was still raw inside. The bill came to €132, which for 2 people and 1 child having a plate of pasta with tomatoes) was rather expensive as we knew it would be). Overall though we had a pleasant evening. The dishes were mostly good and although the price was fairly high, we felt it was worth it as a treat. Dal Cacini have created a unique experience and if you just go with it you are in for an evening that is definitely not dull!"

as always. fish enthusiasts do not come through the surprise menu (because of the catch of the day,) the cook. They are very interested in this experiment! the restaurant and the garden are very romantic.

.cooked with wonder, the menu is surprisingly based on the daily fish with valorisation of the territory at the level of winery; refined and well presented plates from which stands a palamita from 10 and praises; Congratulations.

beautiful experience, not having to choose what to eat and be sure that there will be fresh fish (have no freezer) is a super plus that everyone should imitate to give a perfect gastronomic experience. and then supersympathetic chef and family management atmosphere that accompanies you despite the unknown of what you will eat!

lovely place, magical atmosphere, all very nice. have kindly accommodated every request of our child / elderly person. proposed appetizers: seasoned with pesto and tomato, shaped like a palombo with zucchini and tuna salad were all delicious, abundant and imaginative in preparation. the same for the first: Fish soup and seafood with croutons and cheese. Unfortunately we did not manage to arrive second and sweet because the portions are abundant. recommended!

my review and evaluation unfortunately could not rely on direct experience. in fact when I called to book I discovered that the menu is a surprise. That is, you cannot choose. the owner explained to me that they cook fresh fish (motive for which I had chosen it) but decide how. so if one has intolerances, allergies, preferences etc. you have to notify before, the day before. in my case (intolerance to dairy products in particular to butter) the sauces that had been prepared were with butter and not having warned the day before, it was not possible to meet this requirement the owner greeted me with a goodbye next time

an experience to try, a real surprise. a surprise menu! great for those who trust the skill of the managers and for those who do not have food intolerances, (which can be reported before) . not being frozen choose fresh and seasonal products. very nice local and well-kept in detail with a garden and in high season pleasant outdoor tables and however on the veranda with beautiful soft atmosphere, and excellent music in the background. in the menu various combinations of choice with first second and sweet appetizers with price modelable as you choose. excellent wines.
