"In Dresden there is not a lot of places to find any pulled type of meat, especially smoked. Also I have found this a bit tricky in a lot of Germany but at least these guys are giving it a go. Meat is of decent...quality but I do agree at times it can be a touch dry. Still better a bit dry than some of the other chemically induced meats that I have had the displeasure to eat around this town. If is this is sounding a bit hard and that I don't enjoy this then this is not the intention. Sauces could be better and usually I taken the burgers home to use a better cheese, and sauce. Not that the sauce they use is bad it just does not bring out the full flavours I am used to from the other side of the pond in North America where this type of cooking can be religion. Beer should be better considering around the corner there is a craftbeers store, but now they won't allow you to bring your own beer in which is another reason I take the burgers to go and go a lot less often there. Wish them the best of luck as I think with some constructive thoughts they could really bring something positive to Dresden for food but they need to get the details together and bring in some Belgium beers :"

super delicious burger. originally pulled pork or huh. I tried the bark option that was perfect. I can recommend this restaurant to everyone. has to be in dresden.

The meat is passable but don't expect real southern style BBQ. I found the staff to be rather pompous, giving the impression that they were some sort of pit masters. The coleslaw is just bad. I had high hopes but I definitely won't be coming...back here.

Best pulled pork in Germany... Okay, not many pulled pork places in Germany, but this place is great! A little bit of a German touch (laugen brotchen). Could use a better beer selection, but it's not a drinking joint. Highly recommended to people tired of...standard German food.

The hotel is located in Dresden, this food is AWESOME! The food is delicious, the place looks beautiful and especially the staff seemed extremely customer-friendly. Even the music that determined the mood was not too loud, which could sometimes be a problem. I'll come back here someday!

Best pulled pork in Dresden. I know that is not saying much but the sandwiches are very good. I had my sandwich on a pretzel bun i thought it was quite ok. Although to be fair the pork and slaw have a quite strong taste...and so other than not being stale i could not say a lot about the bread. I would like a bit more sauce on the meat but that is a personal taste issue.

As a huge gourmet burger fan I had to make a stop in this 'schwein ' specialty place. It 's a nicely arranged and urban-designed small restaurant with a limited selection of drinks. A couple of special beers, albeit all in bottle. The bauchschwein burger was okay,...with solid combination of flavors and tastes, but I would have expected more fat on the meat and more juice in general. Service was a bit slow, but considering there 's one guy doing everything, it was okay.

If you have ever enjoyed the succulent experience of an authentic BBQ pulled pork sandwich, the Dampfschwein burgers will leave you somewhat disappointed. I think they use some sort of slow cooker to prepare the meat so don 't expect any strong smoky flavor. HOWEVER, pulled...pork is very rare in Germany and even an average pulled pork sandwich is a very welcome change on the menu. So for a lack of alternatives, I can recommend this place. It 's also pretty hip and their overall style is nice. If you care about stuff like that add half a point to the review.
