"Osteria da Cèncio remains my favourite restaurant anywhere. After a five year absence, I was happy to return and to be greeted like an old friend. The menu is innovative yet remains true to the heart of Tuscan cooking, using seasonal local ingredients with care and attention to detail. The dining room manages to be stylish, classic and quirky with good white linen, quality glassware and use of contemporary plates and boards to beautifully present chef Frederica 's outstanding food. Service is relaxed, knowledgeable and friendly. On this occasion, outstanding dishes were a plate of potato ravioli filled with delicate and succulent rabbit, dressed with a pesto of cavalo nero and taggiasche olives (sadly, eaten too quickly to remember to photograph); a dish of handmade tagliatelle with a brown crab sauce; a little soup of juicy lobster meat, spelt grains, beans and croutons; and a tartlet of fresh porcini on a rich fonduta. We also ate tagliata; fillet of venison with fragola grapes spinach mousse; and a plate of scallops served with the smoothest celeriac puree. A delicate tiramisu; a warm chocolate cake with a blueberry spuma; and a warm fig and almond cake served with a lemon crema ended our excellent meal. I can 't recommend this restaurant highly enough, and can 't wait to return."

"Pizzeria discovered by chance; a discovery that turned out to be truly positive. Starting from the location, the place is truly particular in its style with a unique themed decoration. The precise and fast service as well as the truly trained and very helpful staff. Menu with a wide choice of appetizers and pizzas. Good omelettes but with not very strong flavors while the pizzas are really excellent; the desserts are also very good. Average prices. Service: Dine in"

"We were staying in Vicopisano and whilst chatting to other visitors we were advised about a great dining experience whilst they were in Buti, as it was only a stones throw away we deciddd to give it a try, So so glad we did too, aware it only opened from around mid-day to 15.00 for lunch, we made our way, there was no menu for lunch, the owner did advise what was on offer (there isa menu for evening dining) we were shown to a table, all very tastefully done out in old with a modern take style, very clean and spacious, We were given the choices of the day, I had spaghetti and tomato sauce (very tasty and lots of it) my wife had a mushroom and basil lasagna, yep, very very tasty and again, a large enough portion, along with bread (homemade I think) olive oil, a complimentary starter of zucchin with crispy bacon, which was absolutely devine and for desert, a taster size selection of four homemade cakes, again, just so tasty, with two soft drinks, a coffe and it didn’t even come to €20.... a real find, think it’s not been open long but can only see it thriving, would have loved to fine there in the evening in the square at Buti, however, the holiday just wasn’t long enough, if we’re in the region again, we’ll certainly be making another visit for an evening meal. "We visited La Rocca on a beautiful hot summer evening and sat just outside the amazing dining room on the patio. We had the most amazing meal, everything including the wine that was recommended for us was excellent. My husband and I picked the selection of starters that gave you a taste of all the starters on the menu, I expected one little bit of each but we got a large portion of each starter, really worth paying for. I then had the rabbit which was really tasty and my husband had the pork our two kids had the Calamari selection which they loved, they both had Pasta for starter, Would highly recommend this restaurant and hope we may visit it again before we move from our Villa in the next week. We were worried about visiting it because no body had reviewed it since 2016. But it is definately worth visiting."
