Not much to say. Excellent dinner, service was fast and professional, check in line with average price for a dinner in an European capital. Will visit again next time I’m in Berlin!

We were staying just down the street so we walked by this place easily four times a day. So we finally gave into our curiosity and had a fine dinner. I made the best choice; the spicy octopus was delicious. I lapped up every last...drop of the sauce with the bread.

Defne turned out to be a lovely place for a dinner with a few friends in a yet-unexplored are in the German capital. dreadfully slow and rude service. also when booking they wait 15 minutes. when my friends who do not speak German asked English, they said: we are in Germany, should they speak German. in total we waited an hour before our dinner. eating is...not special, very expensive and definitiw not worth the waiting and humiliating experience.

Wife’s pick! She was doing research on restaurants in Berlin and found out that 10 of the population was Turkish. Off we went to Defne... totally impressed with the food and service. We started with a couple appetizers and finished with the veal and...pork dishes. The portions are large and if we knew how much food that we were going to get we would have skipped the appies.

Very good and tender meat. Both the chicken as the beef are very tender. With the Turkish specialty they add it’s very delicious and has a lot of flavours. Service is good! Place looks not like your 3-star restaurant but as a cosy restaurant you...want to sit in with your friends and family and eat a good meal. Prices are also very good. we accidentally discovered defne when visiting admiral brucke on an evening. we are very happy. When we passed the restaurant, we looked so busy that we were as good sign of a table in demand and were happy to sit outside. the food was delicious from our common meze starter to our mixed grills (both meat and vegetarian options.) our waiter, which we consider to be the owner, was nice, friendly and helpful. he told us that the restaurant was almost 20 years old and with eating so well we could see why.

we ate here for the first time and will surely come back. the waiter was very friendly and helpful. we chose the mixed starter plate for 2 and the hackfleisch manti (small Turkish tortellini.) the mixed starter plate with 5 different pastes was very...tasteful the brot was fresh and all ingredients were high quality. the manti were amazing, and I would definitely order again. Additionally we had 3 beers and 0.75 l carafe white wine/sparkling watermix. the total invoice was €65. I would suggest making reservations for dinner as the veranda was filled with guests quite quickly. the only minus point is that the seat cushions can be renewed as they are really worn. other than that would recommen...

we were thrilled to find a Turkish restaurant that is not all about grilled food. we sat on the terrace and enjoyed the ambiente on a warm summer evening. Although they are not mentioned online, they have good weeping, and we drank a beautiful grayburgunder sold. of the karaffe. the mixed starters for two were excellent and sufficient for four people. for our main course we ordered: (1) imam bayildi, a famous and delicious vegetarian aubergine speciality. (2) The noble ali, obviously is a court, on which defne is proud, and too right. a combination of lamb strips with aubergine and yogurt.
