"After eating out every night this week in various places around the country finally I find a total winner! A good mix of people in the nicely decked out place, I was greeted by very friendly staff. Omg the saag paneer was the best I’ve ever had and that mango lassi too was the best I’ve had too. Well done guys you made me a happy lady. Street parking, reasonably priced, good selection of decent dishes"

My first time at this restaurant and I was not disappointed. The food was amazing and the staff were very attentive and police. Also didnt have to wait ages for our next course!!

Great food and atmosphere at this little place. Downside is no alcohol. But not a huge issue. The food is very good though and it comes on a tava flat iron plate Service is with a smile.

First time visit here and will definitely want to visit again. We went on a Friday evening which was surprisingly quiet, meaning service was very attentive, albeit feeling slightly under constant supervision.

Went with 30 friends the atmosphere is just amazing like back home in Pakistan the food was cooked to perfection felt so relaxed the customer service was impecible I will definitely be going back again and reccomending it to all of my friends

I strongly recommend the lamb karahi, mixed vegetable mixed grill. The desi tea is as good as home made. This is my favourite Indian restaurant in the whole of Derby. Safraz the manager always ensures we get great service. 1 very satisfied customer

We had a family meal yesterday at desi tawa for about 80 people and it was awesome the service was outstanding and staff were very polite . The food was hot and really tasty . Definitely recommend this place and will next time be coming here for sure .

My wife and I visited this establishment and a thoroughly enjoyable charga Tawa. Food was really authentic Pakistani food and the owner who was also waitering on the night was really friendly and hospitable. I would thoroughly recommend a visit and judge for yourself

A lovely restaurant which is very nicely decorated and well located on the outside of Derby City Centre. Service is very good and food arrives very quickly once ordered. The food arrives on a tawa with big portion sizes especially compared to the number of people it lists it for on the menu.
