The restaurant is excellent. The price for duck breast with red cabbage and dumplings €29. I haven't eaten so well for a long time. However, I have to take off a star during operation. I suppose you were still in training?

Large kitchen and young dedicated team. We like to come here and have slept wonderfully. Breakfast is very good with delicious coffee and freshly prepared egg dishes. The very young team is complemented by an experienced waiter. Ambience and location of the house is great. The bathrooms are very spacious and comfortable. I recommend a visit.

The food was excellent. We had appetizers and main courses very well. The service was unfortunately very bad. It took 20 minutes until we were able to order drinks, another 15 until our three beers came (which, as we could observe, were tapped quite amateurically). When we, when the main course came, wondered what our bread plates were meant for, it turned out that our waitress had forgotten the bread spread (and which we had already envyed at the side table). For this, there was a schnapps that was very tasty, but was served inappropriately to the main course. Overall inexperienced staff that prevented us from really enjoying the excellent food.

An extraordinary highlight! We were in Detmold for business and somehow ended up in this hotel. This house deserves 5 stars. Rarely we have seen a hotel realized with such precision and attention in detail. The rooms are safe. Not everyone stands on this fabric tension on the wall. But it's about allies. Ms. Jagtfeld from Berlin has done a whole job. The bathroom with the huge shower is a dream, the furniture is all very harmonious and with great care. You immediately notice that the money was not saved in this project. The owners have done great work and given the beautiful city of Detmold a real highlight.
