"My self husband and sister in law visited On 23rd sept Ordered starter to come first then main meals. The starter and main meals arrived together so asked informed the waitress That we asked for starter to be served first The waitress that brought the food out was not very polite or helpful I know that the main meals were left under a hot plate whilst the starter was consumed because we returned the main course I know the staff were busy but customer service needs to be looked at If I treated people in my job like this I would be pulled up and reprimanded. The other thing is female toilets need to be checked more often"

good for a family lunch; good range of menu options; efficient service in spite of very busy pub and restaurant

Sue provided excellent service today. The food was top-notch and I can't wait to come back. They even allow dogs, which is a bonus! View menu

I don’t go out often when in London, but this was a delightful place I stumbled upon! Friendly atmosphere, very clean. Staff were amazing, Sue, who helped me decide what beer I should have was such a joy and made my experience even more enjoyable!

My friend and I visited for dinner on a Thursday evening. Outside drinking area was busy but inside dining area was large and fairly empty. Food is nice albeit a little pricey but the service was poor. Very few staff passed by our area and those that did preferred to avoid our gaze or rushed by. We were sat down with a menu for 25 mins before we had to shout out to a staff member so we could place our order. Same problem with trying to get a bill.

My family recently attended a conference at Woolwich Works and were in need of a place to relax. With tired children and hungry parents, we decided to stop by the pub for some food and drinks before heading back to our hotel. The staff was outstanding in assisting my daughter, Sadie, in choosing a picture to color and providing her with crayons, as well as recommending delicious food for her to enjoy. Caleb was very knowledgeable and Denis made our evening unforgettable. I would highly recommend this place for families. View menu

Beautiful building and well presented. Lots of different areas to sit in, including a good outside space. Very foggy friendly. Great service that went the extra mile, finding us a new table when it was became a little boisterous near ours. It was busy and lively (Friday night). But the different zones meant you didn’t need ti be in the hub of things. Good selection of food from fish and chips and burger to seared sea bass. A good selection of pizzas too. We took our special-news daughter and 2 dogs and they accommodated us very well. Special thank you to the server who helped us with the table.

While holidaying in London we decided to take the new Elizabeth line to Woolwich and explore that area. Fabulous air conditioned tube line and first class tube stations. What a surprise when you exit the station and come out to a great open development area. There's open spaces, new apartment buildings that look well designed and not overcrowded, open markets, a ferry stop on the river, cafes and the Dial Arch Brewery House. We decided to have a bite to eat some drinks. Great service, great atmosphere and open and interesting. There's comfy indoor outdoor seating options and this venue is well worth visiting.
