"I went to this restaurant for three reasons, 1) I wanted italian, 2) I was crunchy on a time and had not too much time to look, and 3) it was near where I was / needed to be the time. the restaurant is...nice and clean and the service is friendly. the reason why I give this restaurant 3 stars because the meal was not really so great. Diavolo’s could be her classic stereotypical restaurant “Italian” was not too expensive, but if they were looking for fine italian, I would not definitely go here. I only went once and had a court, so I don't have much to go, but at least that was my first impression."

Gick förbi vid lunchtid och slank in bara för att vi var där.Helt ok mat och bra pizza till ett överkomligt pris.Inga stående ovationer men inte dåligt heller.Väldigt trevlig kypare.

Wir können diesen Italiener hinterm Kohlmarkt nur jedem empfehlen! Tolle Küche, gute Weine und ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis! Das Diavolo ist unser Stammitaliener in Lübeck geworden. Die das Restaurant führende Familie ist sehr herzlich und empfängt einen immer freundlich! Die Antipasti sind großartig und alle frisch zubereitet, das Brot ist selbst gebacken. Die Pizzen sind sehr lecker und können auch zum mit nach Hause nehmen abgeholt werden. Wir haben uns schon durch durch fast die gesamte Karte probiert und wurden nie enttäuscht!

This was the worst experience we've had in a long time. Circumstances (German rail strike limited our chance to choose where to eat on a busy Friday night, but there was a table here. Took 15 minutes before the table was cleared from the previous...diners then an interminable wait to get the menus. We finally got a drink after 45 minutes (I was then assured that my glass of Warstenier pilsner was a Weizenbier-wrong! . My wife's lasagne was OK but my Penne Portofino was just about edible. We should have walked out (others did . A sad end to our visit to Luebeck.
