"THE RESTAURANT The restaurant is quite hidden and if you don't accidentally discover the sign, you'd go past it smoothly. This is also because the house number in the Navi has not been found, because the restaurant is hidden on a campsite. Only when you drive to the huge parking lot can you see the locality. From the outside, in my eyes, it's like a normal beach place on Sylt, but somehow inconspicuous. A staircase with about 8 steps leads to the restaurant. And this sight surprises. Once you enter, there's something to look at. The ceiling is full of stars, there are old bottles as decoration, beach baskets at the tables and even sand on the floor. The view from the windows is not a highlight, because you don't see trees or beach, but the camping place, but that doesn't matter. A reservation was not necessary at noon. However, as at this time some tables had reservations, I can put it to the heart in the high season. The audience was mixed and consists of a colourful camping crowd. At noon, however, there were smaller groups of 2-4 persons between 30-50. Nevertheless, I would like to point out at this point that the restaurant is run as extremely child-friendly and that is not groundless. PRICES Prices are on average for Sylt. We have for a steak, a daily dish, two appetizers, a pizza, as well as four drinks approx. 80€ paid. The service is courteous, friendly and sympathetic. And very child-friendly. The service is attentive, set up to sprinkles, totally nice and it gives a loose impression. This is not just the clothes that are so completely off the knee-white that you have the feeling of being in a real beach bar. Above all, it's up to the sayings. And even the thicker, which I always found so prolific during my school time, fits in here. The toilets are clean and well maintained. I usually inform myself about restaurants, but this time it was quite spontaneous. I was looking for children's restaurants Sylt at Google and this was shown to me. More than 100 reviews talked for the local. After we picked up a table spontaneously, we got a menu and were asked for our drinks. The card itself is clearly designed. There is a daily ticket for lunch and a main ticket. After seeing the inlaid card, I thought of a small snack, but the main card impresses with more demanding dishes. My husband chose the potato soup with sausages, as well as a Wienerschnitzel with Rahm-Champignons. The children shared a classic pizza salami. And I chose Bruschetta and a steak. After a waiting period of about 5 minutes, the drinks were taken to the table. Our special has been served in red wine glasses and has enchanted me with a thick exclamation mark. Honestly, this feels much more noble than a classic cola glass. For the little ones there were gorgeous glasses with apple choir, where the straw always flopped out. There was no greeting from the kitchen, but that was not necessary, because about 10 minutes later, a large pan with my broschetta was carried to the table and shortly afterwards a large portion of potato soup. Optically very appealing, but both so lush that I was already afraid to be fed after the appetizer. Tastefully, however, perfect and just the Bruschetta did it to me completely. I have already eaten some and here awaits you a crispy, slightly thick baguette, coated with a fruity tomato sauce, fresh hauch-thin garlic discs, onions, and quartered tomatoes. The mixture of warm and cold with the fresh ingredients. A true palate mouse. The main court was split. In other words, after some time we were asked whether the pizza of the children should be made first. This has the advantage that we were able to take care of the children at the beginning without our own food getting cold. Also very lonely and I must confess I have never experienced it. The pizza is gigantic and incredibly delicious. Although the sauce was very fruity, even my husband found it well. My big son even smiling and rubbing his belly on the phone. Even the next day and on the return journey he spoke of the pizza. Mama, the pizza in the restaurant that was sooo (again licking it over the lips, smashing and rubbing the belly). Let's go. I think that speaks for itself. After some time, we were asked whether our food should be prepared. When they were brought to us they were not as opulent as the appetizer and pizza suspected. A sufficient portion, hot and lovingly dressed. The dishes were hot and much more important, the steak was perfectly juicy fried and the carving, although it was thin, not dry. In general, it can be said that the quality of the individual products was high. But, the cold kitchen should be a little more trouble at the salad. My one piece of gurke was daumendick and even pointed up the stunk. Absolute No Go, just like the fact that three leaves were brown in salad. At least the salad leaves come in the most upscale kitchen, and are probably just in my eye, as I worked for years in the cold kitchen. After a dessert rain we were no longer asked. But that wasn't bad either, because we honestly didn't get a bite."

We went here on recommendation and had unfortunately not reserved (I would recommend booking a table). We were lucky and could get another table inside the restaurant. The entire staff is super nice, good on it and very courteous. The food is absolutely great! It's a bit up, but you'll be happy to pay for it at such a great restaurant. We like to come back! hallo together, unfortunately I can't track/represent these positive reviews on the forum! after a visit at the restaurant on 28.08.2011 we were not even welcomed. the unfriendly and badly leached waiter served us to eat with on the table banging say. that a relaxed eating was not possible, since the staff 9 people) was loud in the entrance area/kitchen and more interest in the television formula 1) instead of the guests! It is important that by unnecessary glasses the waiter on the stage the cleaning was unnecessarily awakened. I would like to say that the staff of the more accurate should check what people/guests of bananenferesser are missed from the east)! unfortunately we also had to fi...

an evening that stays in very bad memory: part 1 – space: we (2 adult 2 children) have a place in a former smoker room (my guess,) as it is in this room very much to nikotin stank. it ran a huge television with a good audible loudness before the 4 youths saw a sporting event. part 2 – Order/Reklamation: a blonde male operation (type: surfer) has our order on (3 pizza salami – the children share a drink). 15 minutes later the pizzas would be brought. one was ok – the other two were all dark brown and partly black – among them raven-black burnt flour. Woman and children looked horrified as I was directly complaining. the service meant unfriendly that they would still go and then notice (there...

"we were on sylt in October and traveled with the train. After we had done some things in our apartment, we wanted to go to the beach and look where we could sit down later for dinner. we have bumped on this restaurant and after checking the prices in the upper area, I went in to make a reservation. they told me that only one table was free, which I understood, because the restaurant looked very nice and was already full. So I said okay and we came back at 8:00. don't get her last table! this table stands next to the bar and on the main street to the kitchen. people sitting on the bar sit a little higher than they, but with the back to their table. also the waiters come at each order (drinks, eating, billing, cleaning the whistle etc). by her table. next to our table stood another small table with a wine cooler on it. first I thought it was for us if we were to order champagne or something. but no, it was like this table was a leap. the food was really good, we had a three-course meat dish and it cost only 30 €. the waiters were fast, but not too attentive. seemingly they took care of those who were lobster and so ate. ;) so I think this restaurant is really nice, but not on this table. that keeps me from giving two stars. as I said, the prices are at the upper end. a small white beer costs 3,80 €; a water-mixed apple juice costs 5,80 €; a small pilsner beer 3,60 €. reserve if you want to go, it is always fully booked. parking is only 3-5 places, as far as I remember. park them on the road or run better there. there are also other comparable restaurants in the same street, taste them also."

"Westerland actually embodies all that I don't like about Sylt. Usual houses in front of the beach, awkward, a lot of commerce. Since we enter the island from the south with the ferry from Cuxhaven, we have no more to drive for car loading on and off Westerland. But now I had to go to the branch of my bank, my credit card scattered (technically and that is, of course, a real problem on Sylt, we have to settle some restaurant bills. Luckily, I didn't have to take the road to sunshine, so my wife would certainly not have been ready to accompany me. But the weather was not so good, and we took the plan by bus from Rantum to Westerland, quickly to the bank, and then quickly past the Friedrichstrassen-Gewusel to the Westerland beach and over the beach by foot back to Rantum. That is well 8 km to the Rantumer main staircase and usually a very nice walk between waves and dunes. Shortly before noon the map problem was solved and we turned to Westerland beach. The idea was to eat a little lunch before the 2 to 3 hours walk. But not in the overrun restaurants on Friedrichstraße, we turn into the quieter side streets and not far from the artist Cafe (see the report from Doc here: [here link] This little restaurant was found in Boysenstraße. Amazing as the visitor's tower flattened 100 meters next to the Friedrichstraße, there the people at the Gosch sit three times stacked, here were free places on the beautiful terrace. It was still a little rainy, but it wasn't a problem by roofing over the outdoor areas. Warm enough for outside, my wife had already announced it. So take a seat here. Inside and outside, see HP, the small restaurant/bistro made a nice impression. We had already seen the map at the entrance, but it also stands on the HP for in sight. On the daily map a lot of fish and seafood, just right. And a good selection of open wines was also offered. So first time water, a Grauburgunder from WG Thomas Hensel (my wife and a Riesling from WG Markus Molitor (ordered for me). And then look at what to eat. The daily menu offered a creative selection of dishes. Since we always eat on the island only small lunches for both of us. My wife ordered raw fish. Thunfischtatar with Avocado, Gurke and Wasabi was their choice. She was served as a very tidy tuna Tatar, with restraint, as we both prefer. The components on the plate complemented the Tatar well, I was allowed to taste. A very good choice. For me also fish, but not raw. Mediterranean fish soup with inlay and pernod, soup is always a good lunch, just when there is something savoury outside. That smells good! Fish fond and pernot complement each other excellently, even in the nose. Spoons, tastes, tasty, tomato, fennel were tasted out next to the fond and the anisschnaps. Also spiced was with Mediterranean herbs, with fish, navy and cod I meant to have recognized. Fine soup, I was happy. We had some time left, so there was another espresso to finish. Invoice the young lady had packed in the service on request also. She had good to do as the only service in the guest room and on the terrace, so it took something, but that wasn't her fault. She did her work with professionalism and kindness. So to the conclusion of this little lunch, here can eat neat lunch, even the neighboring tables have served a lot of food. The view into the evening pass also promises sophisticated cuisine in the evening hours. If it had to be that I eat in Westerland, the Westerland city whisper would be a target I would come into. In the late afternoon, after a wonderful walk through North Seaweathers (Wind, Sun, Rain again at the Rantumer main stairs, we were able to enjoy a glass of champagne in the beach clam..."
