"we were there on a Saturday afternoon just before 17h and actually wanted to drink coffee but also a hearty meal. the entire local was empty, three waiters seemed bored and we were told that there were cakes only on Sunday. we could eat a waffle, but also only until 17:45h, because then everything would be reserved. ah yes...We then kindly asked if we should not sit on the terrace (weather was 20 degrees with partly sun). again a no service, they would have closed the terrace due to the too bad weather.Since we were very hungry, we decided to have a coffee and a waffel. there is an extra waffle card in the restaurant. the coffee was served long before the waffle, not just well chosen. then they came. two as finished products from the discounter looking wadding with some powder sugar over it and three half mini strawberries. and just as bad they were then. extremely dry and taste after finished product. the few coffees that were still left, unfortunately did not help while flushing down. While we ate, two guests sat on the terrace and were served there without any conditions. they even got a free biscuit or the like to the coffee. in us misdisplay...we got only a peppered bill presented. As conclusion we can say the facility with riviera maison furniture is appealing, the view of the sea beautiful, the staff is sometimes striving, but usually rather absent, the prices too high and a kaffestop on a waffel is not recommended. We put on the end of the service even ask the this was affirmed. we doubt this, or perhaps you understand in the ski jumping under yourself, the warming of finished products."

"In view of the current daily temperatures of regularly over 30 °C, Madame had no desire to cook, and we remembered the long neglected Kiel coupon book. The choice for today fell to Villa Coloniale in Bordesholm, an institution in this place for several years. The on-site parking spaces were completely occupied, and on a Wednesday in the school holidays. We took it as a good sign and found a parking lot in front of the neighboring “Alte Post”. When entering the restaurant, we were greeted by a grey-haired man who leaned on the Tresen in a relaxed attitude. I answered his question about our wishes: “A place for two?” “That’s still going,” he answered and offered us two different small tables in the already well-occupied guest room. Terrace area from outside But meanwhile we had registered the pupils in the guest room and asked for a table outside, i.e. in this case on a terrace above which a roof could be closed. Then the man who was probably the boss of the house led us to the terrace and gave us a table. We barely had a seat there when he already had the menus and then disappeared into the interior of the restaurant. Shortly afterwards, an operation came to our table and asked if we already had drinks. Madame ordered a mineral water (0.25l for €2.20, I waved as I wanted to look into the map. The complete menu is deposited on the restaurant's homepage, but the prices mentioned there are not up to date: [here link] The prices of the printed card in the restaurant are approx. 1,00 € higher than those mentioned on HP. We had already pre-oriented on the homepage, so the selection was not difficult: we ordered “Pizza Frutti the Mare, with shrimps, Calamari and river cancers” (11.50 €), and I ordered a soft white beer (0.5l for 3.90 €). On the homepage, the price for this pizza is still € 10.00. Operation picked up the order, thanked and disappeared in the house. Shortly afterwards she served the ordered yeast white beer and on this occasion brought a basket with white bread slices and a plate with herbal oil. The bread was a bit darker and also a little firmer than the usual white bread and tasted very well with the oil. However, as the herbs contained were dried, the aroma did not really come to bear. It took a while until the two pizzas were served. First, the enormous size fell: The dough flakes had a diameter of about 32 cm! Then the edge: vaulted, crispy and loose, that clearly looked like a stone oven. The dough under the lining was evenly thin and also in the middle still capable of carrying, so you can not find anything. Even in the case of the coating, one did not proceed sparingly, the seafoods mentioned were abundant. But what had the chopped fresh parsley look for on this pizza? For this, the Mediterranean herbs were completely missing, were they landing in the oil that had been given before? In addition, we actually know that just seafood is pre-sautified in garlic oil. That had not happened here, so the taste of the pizza was quite “flat”. A little later, the cartridge came to our table to clear the plates. On his question whether it tasted, Madame confronted him with the missing Mediterranean herbs. Thereupon a wordful explanation of us arises, we could have ordered these herbs... not like that! We don't cook here, the kitchen staff must do it themselves. We had no desire to discuss the garlic. We then tried several times to draw attention to one of the passing services, as we wanted to pay. Only a pressing ringing with the cutlery at the empty mineral water bottle then brought success, we paid and left the place somewhat disappointed."
