"I've been here more often. it is a rustic restaurant in a very old little house. indoors it is, especially in winter very cozy, but you must not look so exactly in every corner. in summer you can also sit on the terrace, which offers a very simple beer garden atmosphere. eating was always good. there is also always a tasty greeting from the kitchen in front, we had already gurkensüppchen, kartoffelsüppchen, Roast-Beef-Salat. the kitchen thus conveys a slightly higher impression. the last two paintings, I think the cook has changed, but the kitchen has changed somewhat. unfortunately I was therefore disappointed at both last visits. the carvings were bigger and tenderer and have been quite overcrowded since the latest. the pannade is not so crispy and the scavengers are now round about half, but the price has remained. this time, I had a little bit. the sauce hollandaise was roasted and served with big bells and egg pieces- that wasn't very nice, even not delicious. a sauce hollandaise I also make that should be expected from a cook. the steak what we had this time was quite good, but was a quite large part of the queue and was therefore not completely eaten. the bees are not recommended, I come from southern Germany the taste is not as it should be. the cheese should not only be top-drum, but be mixed with the late-drum and be a little more intense in taste. otherwise, the dish tastes only after late zle with butter and a little sway. the bratkartoffeln and pommes are very tasty, the cold beef also. in the season I find the matjes very good. salat that is often included as a supplement was fresh, crunchy and the dressing very good. the prices are not cheap, so my expectation is higher.I may go back and test if it was only one provided or the standard has fallen."

the food was very delicious and also really much. also there was a little bit of a house in front. the bier should have been a bit colder. overall we felt very comfortable and well served.

the garden was open, one sits under linden and has the choice between "right eating" or coffee and cake - the cheesecake and also the rhubarb cake were wonderful, nicely dressed with a bowl and a small vanilla sauce. the dog was offered water. perfect for a afternoon

classic village rug with upscale kitchen - in rustic furnishings in the midst of the boberger dunes lies the village rug. a real tip, because the kitchen is excellent despite the somewhat bodice-looking optics. So if you are looking for a cozy, grounded restaurant with good food and predominantly regional cuisine, try it once. View menu

We used to eat there often. After several years we tried again, but the cozy atmosphere was missing. Previously, the restaurant was always full, which you could hardly get a table. this time only 4 tables were occupied. the service seemed a bit bored. the amuse guule was too sharp, the "homemade steak sauce" was too fruity for a steak sauce, otherwise it tasted very well. but it is not enough to come back.Schade

the villagekrug is designed as you imagine a restaurant with this name. cozy, with dark furniture, nice and with a warm atmosphere. in summer the large terrace invites you. eating is very tasty, the choice of cake is large and highly recommended. the service staff is very nice, fast and accommodating. also the environment offers beautiful possibilities for walks, either between bach and fields along or in the boberger dune.I spent there a beautiful afternoon. lunch, walk, coffee and cake.Very recommended!

despite reservation (50. b). was not expected. the service was better aware, it had to be discussed whether to drink a certain aperitif with ice water or cola. the appetizers were sweet, but the culminating was to serve a cut champignon, to add an salathaufen and to increase € 8.90. the stinte are not recommended as main dish, they were served without heads and clapped on a glass plate without love. from taste very fade. by mail we complained afterwards, but you didn't think it was necessary to go to the complaining. Conclusion: we are not going to eat there anymore! View menu

were dinner with 3 people on 18th January 2017. great ambiente, but very cold. we have frozen, but it is probably only on the department store that is not sufficiently isolated in cold weather. We ordered carvings, green cabbage, gambas, pumpkin soup and swirl roast. together with drinks eur 137,40 and this is a proud price! Wiener schnitzel had to be canceled shortly after order, as the chef had forgotten to buy carvings. after 45 minutes waiting time came the food. green cabbage was tasty! tweezers for eur 25,00 very disappointing. meat was very tough and small. for the price I would have expected something else. that was now my third visit in the last 12 months in this restaurant. again an...

was ordered and on the bill stood: tweebelroasbraten vom rumpsteak with fried pfifferlingen and tweeping on a portweinjus with bratkartoffeln, 23,90 €. the pfifferlings looked and tasted like champignons. that leads to the question: was it an intent or a confusion? the bratkartoffeln were strongly spiced with paprika, the wobbles were very swollen together so strong doubts remain whether the person in the kitchen has experience in German kitchen. that was dessert: „HEIßE LIEBE“: vanilla ice cream with hot berries and mandelsahne for 4,90 €. here the weak point was rather in the shopping, the celestials dept as a kind of thick celestial sauce with fruit pieces. it did not find a single whole...

"There's always a question (in my mind, anyway) as to Michelin's accuracy/usefulness outside of France. In the US, it's not very helpful at all and in Europe ex-France, I've found it hit and miss. Haerlin represented only my second stab at a two-star in Germany and the first meal (Heinz Winkler), while a thoroughly wonderful overall experience, felt like the second star might have been a stretch. Not so at Haerlin, this was a two-star meal that stands fork-to-fork with any I can remember. The food is stylized to within an inch of its life, but close to flawless in both conception and execution. Outside of a large selection of generally unremarkable breads and a luke-warm roasted onion broth added to an amuse at table side that probably should have been hotter, the meal was simply one perfect dish after another. Maybe the sorbet intermezzo was a little old school in such a fashion forward meal, but - hey - it was delicious! Keep it.The room is suitably formal, luxurious in a traditional style, and quite comfortable. The pace of service might be a little leisurely for some (I ate alone and the four-course menu (seven + courses, including amuses, etc) pushed it a bit, stretching just over three hours. However, the friendly and attentive staff kept an eye out the entire time and stopped by if the time between courses presented the opportunity. The somm, in particular, was a great diversion, visiting from time to time to discuss the varied and interesting wines on offer. He provided useful insight into the outstanding selection of trocken Rieslings on the list. He guided me to a 2001 Burklin-Wolf GG that, at Eu 150, was both a great bottle of mature white and a tremendous value for a wine of this quality in this type of restaurant. (Good luck finding a white burgundy of this quality at this price at any multi-star restaurant - or at retail, for that matter.) He also suggested a wonderful German Pinot Noir by the glass that worked perfectly with the meat course and wasn't terribly expensive. The list is extensive, but not the tome you see at some restaurants, but don't be fooled - wine service at Haerlin is both a major plus and represents notable value in the context of multi-star restaurants.I'm not going to argue two-star vs three-star because that distinction often seems to be kind of mysterious (and tangentially related to the food), but I will say that this place certainly deserves two stars. I had just a flat-out great meal. If you can work in a visit, Haerlin should be high on your list."
