"Advantages: COOLER „AMERICAN STYLE“UNWEIT VOM „MÜGGELSEE“ „DOWN TOWN GARAGE“ with „American Diner Restaurant“, „Town Down Motel“, „US-Cars Motors“ reminds of the American late vests of past decades. Both outdoors and indoors are all kept in an authentic-charmant ambience, with great attention to detail. The original diner with its stylish menu offers the perfect culinary highlight for every taste and age. We were once again convinced of this – this time with our Hamburg relatives. We adults chose Classic Burger Texas Style, Big Down Town Chicen Mix, Chili Con Carne, Iberico Spare Ribs — all freshly prepared and served with delicious home-created Dips/Saucen. The dishes were incomparably delicious, the portions saturating. Our grandchildren were really thrilled by their Cadillac Burger and the self-made Mango Minz-Limonade. In addition to the excellent kitchen, the super sympathetic duo: Sophie and Julian ensured the well-being. Both advised us competently in the menu selection, served the dishes/drinks professionally and remained polite, friendly and attentive despite the clientele. They brought paint pencils for the four-year-old and seven-year-olds to creatively bridge the short waiting period for meals. There is also an adventurous sand playground for the little ones. Especially popular were the soft ice cream milk ice creams — directly from a red US school bus! Absolute eye-catchers on the large terrain are the exhibited US cars from the 40s to 70s. And last but not least, who stays and relaxes not even in a motel decorated with nostalgic-American flair in the beautiful Berlin-Köpenick. Lake Müggel and forest right next door. And there is an in-house delivery service! Thanks to the dedicated family company Paul Werbelow for this wonderful adventure day. We would like to recommend “DOWN TOWN GARAGE” as a unique secret tip – located in the southeast of Berlin. We will definitely be back soon! Schmidt PS family. It's a real setup. The food tastes good. A star less because one of the waiters sometimes messes up the orders. (In the picture: Chicken Nuggets, Onion Rings and Chllie Cheese Fries)

The burgers and the pommes taste very good. The service was friendly and attentive. However, more attention should be paid to cleanliness. The table had been dirty by the previous guests and was not wiped. The women's toilet has not been clean for a long time.

It's about as American as you can get in Germany. The burgers are amazing and we love the ice cream school bus in the summer. Their homemade cheese dip is really really good, orange and goopy as cheese dip should be. They have county music playing so you can enjoy your food without worrying about Ed Sheeran coming on. Don't expect cups full of ice or traditional USA free soda refills though or big cups of dips, that part is still German. Highly recommend!
