"First visit to Drift, Hayling Island and WoW!! Food was amazing, I had a roast dinner Pork, it was on point, the presentation of the food was excellent and the whole meal was cooked to perfection and soooo tasty!! Kids had pizza and that looked and tasted better than the big chain restaurants. Dessert was to die for, again, very presentable and tasty. The view of the marina is unique, I bet this is lovely in the summer. Staff are very friendly and presentable. Excellent value for money. THANK YOU FOR A GREAT AFTERNOON. Now go and check it out for yourself!!"

Ate here for the first time yesterday and we all had roast beef. This is one of the best roast dinners I have had in a restaurant. The setting is beautiful and the staff friendly and attentive. Will be returning View menu

Visited after seeing on Facebook and thought it looked great, it was. Pizza each along with side salad and cheesy garlic bread. Followed by lemon tart and cheese board. All was fabulous. Also had a couple of cocktails- driftini and after eight- 2 for £10. Bargain and definitely worth it.

another really good evening at drift last night. we went for purpose for the Aperol party, so knew there would be music we enjoyed. great service, nice eating (on Sunday dinner in the evening to reserve what was good, although we missed the yorkshires) and fabulous cocktails! many thanks to team drift that they have made us a fun again!

What a wonderful restaurant! Our group of ten had a delightful Christmas night out. The food was incredible—delicious, served hot, and plentiful. The restaurant itself is beautiful, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The 2-for-1 cocktails were an added bonus! A huge thank you to James and the rest of the team for taking such good care of us. We'll definitely be back! View menu

My wife and I decided to try the new Drift restaurant at the Sparks Boat Port tonight. We were warmly greeted upon entering and immediately felt welcome. The atmosphere is relaxing, with soft music featuring artists like Sinatra in the background. They have a great selection of drinks and high-quality cocktails, including a classic mojito. The table service was attentive, and the food was exceptional—the rib was truly melt-in-your-mouth tender. I highly recommend checking it out!

I had lunch at the restaurant, and it was fantastic! I even returned in the evening after working on our boat. The staff was friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable, making for a very enjoyable experience. We had fun with some Guinness, cocktails, and good wine. The menu isn't extensive, which is understandable, but everything was fresh and perfectly cooked. We tried a variety of small plates and a few delicious pizzas. I will definitely return and commend the great work! - David, Peter, and Bertie

"Oh dear, how sad this beautiful rural pub has been completely ruined by a landlady who openly only cares about taking your money and wanting you to buy overly expensive food on a very limited menu no vegetarian options at all). I really wanted to see this pub as my late grandparents had met there many years ago, we have history in the area too as they owned farmland there. On arrival were greeted by a woman whose smile was so false and reminded me of an uptight primary school teacher, who desperately wanted us to buy food and not just drinks. We felt hurried into making a decision of a very slim selection of drinks. I had a coffee that was about 3 mouthfuls. The garden and pub itself is beautiful, and worth seeing. However, our experience was ruined by a landlady who obviously only bought this pub to turn it into a gastro pub and and cash cow. With obviously no interest in the local history at all, after my husband tried t make a conversation about the family we had had in the area. She just asked if he wanted a menu!! A word of advice would be, from a business perspective would be to at least fein some interest. Sadly it is not the quaint little rural pub that it should be, while I understand making a profit is paramount in business at least try and be more genuine if you would like people to return and buy overly priced food. And at least pretend you are interested in local history, because guess what that might be the reason people are going there. It was obviously a pub, in a very small village that was once the heart of the community."
