What a treat to eat at this pub, food is devine and lots of it. The atmosphere is lovely, well recommend a visit, you will not be disappointed.

This is the sort of pub that you don't find often, a real local with solid food, great beer and an atmosphere that is just as a local should be. I cannot rate it highly enough.

This pub is so easy to relax in. Cosy, friendly and good food at reasonable prices. Beer options very good and well kept. After another excellent meal, sat near a log fire it was very hard to leave. View menu

We visited, for lunch on Mothering Sunday. We were delighted that they squeezed us in (three adults and two dogs), and even happier after enjoying the delicious Roasts that were on offer. Can't recommend The Phoenix highly enough.

Visited this pub today with my other half. We received a very warm welcome, the food was excellent and the beers first class (good selection too). The Phoenix Inn is everything a proper pub should be and we would highly recommend it.

Great pub with lovely friendly staff who are always welcoming. There is a great choice of foods/menus to cater for all tastes. The food itself is very nice and fresh, I particularly like the home made cottage pie on the specials board. It is a pleasure to support this local business. View menu

In need of some home style meals after a week in France, we stopped off for lunch on our way to Stonehenge. Lunch time was almost over but it wasn’t a problem for the staff who served us. Food was amazing and exactly and what we all needed. Thanks for a great visit and lovely hospitality in a cute country pub !

I came here with a friend for some food and a pint after a nearby gig at The Swiss Cottage, which is about 500 yards away. The staff at the restaurant were extremely friendly, the menu had a good variety of options, and the food itself was delicious. They also had a great selection of real ale. I will definitely be returning when I am in the area again.

We went for lunch today and, as always, it was wonderful. The portions of homemade food were generous. We started with prawn cocktail and tempura prawns, which were deliciously crispy. For our main course, we had a freshly cooked omelette and toastie, perfectly prepared with a side salad and chips. There is a wide variety of food options available that cater to everyone's tastes. The landlady and staff were friendly, and the service was efficient. The prices were reasonable for the quality of the food.
