"This was a busy day and the menu stated that food can take mins to arrive. We ordered our food and the drinks came promptly. The food took minutes to arrive but part of the order was missing. The worst was yet to...come. Halfway through my breakfast I discovered a hair in the scrambled egg. I discreetly brought this to the attention of a staff member who clearly did not know what to do in this situation. I asked for the manager and she went off to get him or her. We waited another minutes and no one came back to us. I then asked another staff member where the manager was and was told I'm really sorry but they're busy The fact that I'd found a hair in my food didn't seem to register with anyone and I was amazed. I was offered a refund for the breakfast and the part if the order which never arrived. I asked if they had a protocol for customers who find foreign bodies it their food but no one knew. I could have created such a scene in the cafe but I didn't. I was discreet throughout. I left my phone number and was told that it would be given to the manager immediately and I would get a phone call. than hours later I have heard nothing. Needles to say I will not be visiting again."

Very disappointed at an older member of staff audibly calling a customer a “weirdo”. Unacceptable, especially at this time when we’re all a little bit anxious. Won’t be returning.

Popped in for lunch. Not the biggest menu but had vegan options so I was happy. Food was well presented and the staff were helpful and chatty. Very clean and organised. Always busy which is a good sign.

Nice place with a pleasant atmosphere. Both food and drink were acceptable. The staff were polite and courteous with plenty of free local parking within yards. Was nice to sit back and watch the steam train enter the station adjacent to the cafe.

Quirky, homely little cafe great for early morning breakfast and brunch! Service was quick and easy, atmosphere was cosy and welcoming. Just a quiet, comfy place to catch up with mates or have a brew by yourself. Amazing vegetarian options too, super delish! View menu

I only live about minutes away from this little gem and it’s fast becoming my favourite breakfast spot. I absolutely love the smashed avocado with smoked salmon on toast. I really should explore more of the menu. The coffees are great!! Silky smooth, good...and strong and nicely presented.

No complaints about DRINC. Been previously for a coffee but thought we'd try breakfast on a Saturday. Wow how I was impressed. If you're veggie or vegan you're well catered for. Fantastic full English with vegan sausages that taste like well what I remember. Great...juice and coffee completed sn excellent meal. Five

My year old and I was feeling hungry after a trip on the steam railway, first went to next door to this cafe, but a member of staff said we have finished serving food so went to this coffee bar and was greeted by...a nice friendly guy who showed us to our seat, the food was really good and the staff was really friend and inviting. I would recommend this place View menu

Met with friends. Most staff friendly and helpful. We sat at a table for and felt a bit squashed in. We looked through the menu at our table and ordered at the counter. Food and drink was OK and came quickly. Cutlery was individually...wrapped and came with the meal. We didn't feel rushed so that was nice as we hadn't seen each other for a long time. For anyone with a baby, baby changing facilities are in the ladies toilet. Would I go again, yes I would.

Visited DRINC over the weekend (a busy Sunday). We ordered two freakshakes and a couple of smoothies. Smoothies are made with fruit and not a purée which is nice to see! The freakshakes looked and tasted amazing! We ordered food after seeing some of the...dishes coming out the kitchen (we planned on just having a drink Was told there would be an additional wait but we didn’t mind as you could see it was busy. The staff where lovely, greeted us at the door to seat us and involved our children in conversation! After food we couldn’t fit in the amazing looking cakes, so we made a promise to the kids we will be back! Thank you DRINC

"Well, it 's been a while since I 've reviewed a place but this little gem has certainly reawakened my vigour for it. Visited this evening as a kind of belated birthday celebration with my husband and son and very glad we did indeed. We happened upon this place a few weeks back (passing by and grabbing a cocktail after the days plans fell through and instantly took to the place and it 's wonderful staff and from the off had intentions to visit again an so finally did tonight), within seconds of seating ourself at the bar we were remembered by the owners, which to me shows great calibre on the customer service front. As someone with an exceptionally sweet tooth when it comes to alcohol it was our lucky day to find they had cocktails on 2for£10 and hell can the owner Jo mix like a minx (even doing us an off menu blend to account for tastes). The husband not being a big drinker happily sat at the bar chatting with staff and customers nursing his Peroni whilst me and my son dived headlong into the extensive classical and modern mixed cocktail list. Having been lured into great expectations (previously sampling delicious tasters) from Jo 's lovely husband Dave on our first brief visit we were definitely eagerly placed to dive into dinner tonight. Our lovely waitress Sian, stood patiently while we chopped and changed idea 's and orders, laughed with us, checked regularly everything was to our tastes as did the other young waitress that dropped drinks over to us. Both girls portraying the perfect mix of friendly and professional, a refreshing change to be served by people that clearly enjoy their working environment. And on to the food... we started with olives (and boy was it a substantial portion in comparison with some establishments weak efforts), hubby was first in there, impressed with the quality of marinade (too many places these days forget the little efforts like this thinking folk can 't differentiate something tipped out of a supermarket packet). After much debate (I had my eye on far too many dishes) choices were made, Hubby had the Filo Kefta, which had a light pastry, adequate spice and smoothly complimentary dip, for main he went with the day 's Special of Lamb with fondant potato, heritage carrots and a divinely velvety Jus which he thoroughly enjoyed (and he 's hard to please, being well versed himself and making a point of getting the lovely Chef Darren a glass of wine in appreciation). The lad had a Sirloin steak burger cooked medium rare and is now demanding we visit again soon. lol I went with the Gravlax to start, instantly aware of the clean flavour from its curing cutting through (I even brought a titbit home for my kitty to enjoy), as for main, I 'd initially had my mind on fish but upon discovering the owner Jo was also a blue steak lover I had to try one there and wow they really take care in choosing their suppliers because that was an A grade cut of meat, even my son (who prefers medium-rare) upon trying a slice said it was an exceptional piece of meat I had it with asparagus, no sauce and swapped out the chips for a feta/pepper bowl which worked perfectly as did the glass of Shiraz that Jo picked out to compliment it for me. Genuinely I can not pick fault (read through my other reviews I write honestly, pick fault where warranted and compliment where due). Had this lovely little find been in our usual local it would surely become a regular haunt ours for sure. I would 100% recommend this place and extend our gratitude to all the staff for making our entire visit memorable and perfect."

"We were in Bury for a few days visiting family and the weather was beautiful , we live on the Wirral and frequently visit Brasco lounge in Liverpool of the same chain , which we love. We actually visited Racconto lounge 3 times on our visit , first time we had a brunch of bacon and egg muffin , which we really enjoyed (although the bacon was very salty) The next day we came back and had a lounge breakfast , and the following day we brought my husbands mum , and drank cups of tea while resting from shopping . We enjoyed all the meals , and its lovely inside , although we ate on the terrace in the sunshine and we found all the staff very pleasant and friendly . But..... we had 2 things let it down for us . Firstly on each occasion , the service was extremely slow, when we had breakfast , it wasn't very busy , but we waited ages , although our tea was brought out well before the food , meaning we then had no drinks to go with the food . The second problem was , after waiting ages , we had to send the breakfast back as it was really cold , and it seemed like it had been sat waiting , almost as long as we had , the bacon on both the breakfast muffin and the breakfast was really , really salty also. None of this would put us off , as we enjoyed the dining experience overall , but if you are in a rush , i really wouldn't recommend eating here , as the wait was alot longer than expected every time ."
