"The food was overly salty and lacked flavor. However, the wine list was impressive. Unfortunately, the prices didn't match the quality. When our food was served, the dim lighting made it difficult to see our plates. I started with the duck charcuterie, which was decent and easy to eat. But the second dish was a bone, and it was so salty that I couldn't finish it. When I brought this to the attention of the waitress, she simply took the plate away without offering to adjust the bill or provide a replacement."

The food was overly salty and lacked flavor. The wine selection was unexciting, and the prices didn’t reflect good value. By the time our meals arrived, the dim lighting made it hard to see our plates. The duck charcuterie was tough and difficult to enjoy. For the second course, I ordered the duck leg, but it was so salty that I couldn't eat it. When I mentioned my concerns to the waitress, she merely took the plate away without offering to adjust the bill or provide a replacement.

"This restaurant is not your typical Indian dining experience. The food is exceptional and diverse, with small plates that are quite satisfying. "Paid for 16 oz of beef patty, received 12 oz (365 grams) a big discrepancy and when you consider that 16 oz vs 12 oz costs £4 more you would expect to receive exactly that. When I contacted the owner, he advised that all weights advertised are pre-cooking, and so a 16 oz burger is in fact 12 oz, a 8 oz 4 oz and so on. If I were the owner and valued the integrity of my business, I would add extra meat to account for the shrinkage, or add a disclaimer on delivery sites to inform customers of the same otherwise you are misrepresenting an item. Another piece of advice to the owner is not to dismiss a customers concerns by using the premise ‘I’ve got a reputable business and don’t receive complaints of this nature’ thus trivialising their concern. Treat each concern individually and with a helpful attitude. As for the burger, the patties contained too much flour (which is typically used as a binding agent, just less) making them very rubbery and without flavour, which left much to be desired."

"Lovely food, great service, definitely care about what they put out. We're late to finding this spot. Clearly an established pillar of the community already. We tried this place over a month ago and have already become regulars! Their Chan's special, their duck, honey wings and everything else we've ordered so far has been great. What's a lovely touch is they wrap our food in a box with foil on top to ensure the food stays warm, never seen that anywhere else and demonstrates the level in which they care about the food they're delivering. The staff there are lovely, very friendly and welcoming. Glad we have found this place and will continue to stay regulars."

"I attended the music quiz at the Boathouse on Saturday, October 15th. It was a fantastic night with a good selection of beers, especially the Hammerton 'TINT' Nitro stout. The quiz was enjoyable, thanks to DJ Mike Starr, and I would love to return when he is playing music. The staff were excellent, very friendly and provided great service. Keep up the good work Derrick and team! I hope to visit again soon."

"we could only get a reservation in cash on Saturday night, and so was a bit hesitant to eat here. we decided to go anyway, as we were close, and are so glad we made it! eating was fantastic some of the best hand made pasta that I have ever eaten and the service at the bar was excellent. we are so glad that we have tried this restaurant and will definitely eat again when we visit the future. Thank you!"
