Popped in on the off chance of food for adults and ice cream for kids mid afternoon. Landlady was lovely and very helpful. Kids loved the ice cream and a little play in the beer garden. Food was great and a good range available. Thank...you for having us!

wanted to go for a Sunday caraby, as heard food was well called and was said, it does completely out, but thought we would try our luck later on the day and big we got a table so glad that we had eating was nice choice of...4 meat and veg cooked only really not soggy spoon between any table changed, so still this carvery road was able to refresh with definitiw better than dormy house

we are on holiday for the week and decided to visit this pub tonight instead of the most important high street pubs. we are glad we made it! it is a beautiful, friendly local pub. eating is all freshly cooked and absolutely beautiful. my partner... steak cooked to perfection and I had sampi that was beautiful. both served with homemade chips and all circumcisions. perfect. we would visit here for delicious food and recommend a nice evening.

we decided to come here after some research and were not disappointed! the cook here knows how to cook meat for perfection. we had lamb and bark in our appetizers/goods and everything was wonderfully cooked, very delicately sized portions are decent, reasonable prices...and very friendly staff. the pub could do aesthetically with the update (carpets/furnished, etc.) it looks a bit down in some areas, but would come back 100%. I wish we had a little bit closer to home!

We live close to the Dunstable and have been in for drinks but not eaten so decided to try the carvery last Sunday after hearing good reports. It was excellent, the meat was lovely, my husband was very happy to see pork belly as well...as beef, turkey and gammon.There was plenty of choice of vegetables, also roast and mashed potatoes, sausages, yorkshires and lovely home made gravy. At £8.50 this is very good value and one of the best roasts we have had, we will definitely be eating here again.

We came here late on Friday evening after finishing work and travelling up. We were very thankful they were still serving and they were so accomodating. The restaurant was separate to the pub which made for a nice dining atmosphere and it was well laid...out and really clean- especially good for the current covid climate. The menu had a great selection of foods, both for adults and children. Very accomodating as we're were those awkward people who asked to tweak things and asked for an extra side that wasn't on the menu. Have visited this very welcoming Pub twice in succession now and intend to go back again tomorrow. The menu is amazing with something for everyone. The steak and ale pie is sublime as is the fish pie served piping hot and lots of seasonal vegetables...cooked to perfection. The spinach, black kale and ricotta pie is absolutely delicious. I am not a vegetarian but if I was, this would be an oasis in a desert of risottos and macaroni cheese usually provided for non meat eating people in pubs !! The staff are extremely welcoming and efficient with precautions taken for the present Covid restrictions. Hubby, myself and doggy visited on the first of the Eat Out To Help Out days. We sat outside in the beer garden in glorious sunshine. It was fairly early and there were few folks there. We received a friendly reception, there were a few...ales and lagers to choose from, but the menu was even better. Everything we had starter and main course were beautifully cooked and we would go there again. Service was excellent too. Yes, the place could do with some sprucing up, but in these hard times, our hearts go out to them for keep the place running and providing such a good service.
