"Beautiful location directly on the canal overlooking the beautiful Friedrichstadt market. A cup of coffee costs 4.00 and the dishes are quite expensive, e.g. matjesfilet with roast potatoes for 16,00€. To get to the place, take a step. We were well served - but we found it inappropriate that the service was placed on the side table between acquaintance and smoked a cigarette. If they wash their hands, we know. The ambience told me both inside and outside."

"my fiancée and I come here annually and icycafe pinocchio is always one. we sat in and outside the restaurants and the service is always nice and friendly. the selection of ice cream is very wide and suitable for adults and children the feeding menu has a great variety and are ordered very well. the cakes are delightful, very naughty and served in generous portions. we love to go there as a couple or with our family and we are always well treated. I can't expect to be served again on the best tasting ice cream with a smile."

"Vi var på weekendtur til Tyskland for at nyde de lækre hvide asparges, (Spargel Tour 2017). Hyggelige omgivelser med god mulighed for udespisning lige ned til en af kanalerne med udsigt til byens centrale torv. Godt klassisk tysk køkken med sæson menu og et acceptabelt vinkort. Fik en skøn asparges suppe og derefter en veltilberedt bøf med friske asparges. Alt var absolut tilfredsstillende og fulgt op af venlig betjening. Kan klart anbefales"

"This inn must have seen better days but as we had only seen it from across the market square we decided to give it a try. Overly welcoming it is not - for example, upon entering you are asked by laminated signs to refrain from hanging your coat on the back of your chair and use the wardrobe instead. Signs again on the way to and in the bathroom - very patronising. But maybe this is necessary because of the hordes of tourists that come to beautiful Friedrichstadt in summer? Anyway, when we visited only three tables were inhabited while the service was friendly and efficient. We had a simple fish dish each and were quite content. No surprises there - neither pleasant nor unpleasant. Wine by the glass (Riesling) was expensive for the quality given. Cake in the buffet looked very good."

"Vi havde bestilt gourmet ophold, den første dag var der 3 retter, det startede med en lille bakke med nogle lækre små brød og et eller andet ubeskriveligt til at komme på. Så fik vi et eller andet i et meget lille glas FØJ for den. Næste ret var en suppe i glas, derefter fulgte nogle meget små stykker kød med grøntsager. Desserten var ok. Næste dag havde vi store forventninger til, det var en 4 retters menu. Det var samme fremgangsmåde med brød, noget i et lille glas det smagte bedre. Så noget oksekød der var skåret så tyndt, at det skulle skrabes af tallerkenen. Næste ret var suppe i glas det smagte af det samme som dagen før, der var bare den forskel 1. dag var suppen lyserød og 2. dag hvid, smagen mindede om kærnemælkssuppe. Alt i alt syntes vi ikke der er meget gourmet over den mad vi fik, det var meget små portioner, så jeg tror der er mange der ikke bliver mætte."
