"pity, my preferred hotel in Haller City Centre has been fully booked. without car, nothing comes out. on the halle homepage check out where at this time something was free. super, just a 5-star hotel and the hotel is located at the rande of the city. 5 stars price I wanted to my son who invited me not to do this, so I decided skeptical for the hotel. is also so cheap, sometimes they don't dare. have therefore asked for 2 free single rooms, and if they can reach the hotel well with public transport, as we would come with the train. quickly get a friendly reception and you can drive by line 5 from the train station to the hotel. it was not bad to hear, but it was clear that if they want to drive to the front of the door, they also have to expect that the house is on a well-guided road and they will also hear the tram passing. we were also pointed out at the reception, but not so much made us, because at the cold one also has the windows. was pleasantly surprised, we have received 2 very nice rooms, chubby warm, everything very clean, even the bathroom, my critical eye could not discover any dust. comfortable bed, sufficiently large cabinet, desk, chair and cabinet shelf. because the house is 100 years old, they have not noticed, inside, everything on the most modern renovated in bright, friendly colors. a small local part of it, here you can eat pizza, salads and various carving variations, from midday to 21 in the evening. the young lady at the reception, also serves in the local, and made our pizza, a complete talent. we have slept very well, even if they have heard the car traffic despite closed windows. from 6 o'clock to 9 o'clock 30 gave breakfast buffet, standard I would say coffee, tee, light and dark roll, sausage, cheese, jam, yogurt, obst. enough to get tired. afterwards, in front of the house in the tram, a quarter of an hour drive, and we were able to get out in the middle of the Christmas market. we were completely satisfied, a nice service, all flashy, beautiful christmas decorated, 2 nights super sleep, cheap for 43 euro per night, what more do they want? a hotel for winter, summer I would not sleep here because the poor of the busy merseburgerstrasse is really day and night heavy. so 1 star less, otherwise it would have been 5 stars. update 2016 in februar I will spend a night here again, look forward to it. even if they visit ice cream, they could claim this hotel as a tram from here to the railway station, from where they can quickly get to the train."

"They taste the above-average quality. All fresh and delicious. Very clean. Ambience is impeccable, WC very clean, large family business. The meat is perfect, the sauce toppt everything, mega spicy and creamy. Price is TOP! The only criticism is: chairs are uncomfortable and sometimes defective, opening hours are somewhat too short. "we were often at the carving farmer in hall. the restaurant is small and cozy. in summer there is a small terrace in the backyard. the staff is always nice and friendly.There is a huge selection of carving dishes and supplements. the food is very tasty and is freshly prepared. for the smaller hunger are also offered senior proportions, these dishes are somewhat smaller compared to the normal dishes.We can only recommend a visit to the carving farmer. the staff is very friendly and eating is always fresh and tasty!Small type: who plans to visit should always call before and make a table. because the restaurant is slightly smaller, there are only a limited number of places.Many thanks to the delicious food! we are happy to come back!"

"This place reminded me of a film My Big Fat Greek Wedding.We were a group of 18 and reserved tables beforehand, and this place look pretty crowded (for Wednesday evening). To bad, there were only 2 waiters, who spoke poor German and even poorer English. That was a pure chaos: it was impossible to catch at least one and explain what we wanted. The stuff was really nervous and did not seem to be polite. First, the waiter forgot to ask what I want (I was 5th at the table for 4 people) and left. Then we called him again. When he brought us beer, my friend got a wrong one but he ignored, saying, he can not solve all problems and ran somewhere else(!!!)When we got our foods, another friend got no salad, but he was said he is not supposed to. Then we showed the menu, the position of the waiter changed, he said the salad already was served(!!!) Finally the brought that salad at the end of the evening, when we finishing our food...Interior reminds that old-fashion GDR restauraunts with plastic ceilings, fake stones out of plaster and flowers. The menu is way too big! the number of dishes was around 450+ but the difference was just few ingredients in each! It was hard for us and for the staff to remember the order and at the end we wrote our numbers on the napkins.BUT Food was very good! After eating we almost forgive that terrible services. This is the only restaurant in the area, so if you have enough patience, you may try it, but I'd prefer to go to the city center."
