"Worse place in San Sebastian!! When we entered we informed the waiter we were just having 2 drinks. We were sat down by the manager and I informed him we were just having a drink. He made my partner feel extremely uncomfortable asking her does she feel comfortable whilst leering at her. He was then loitering around the toilet as she used the WC. we had our drink I went to pay and he got abusive with me yelling at me this is a restaurant. I informed him that the young waiter said it was OK to drink and he confirmed he didn't understand me and apologised (his mistake and this is OK) however the manager became increasingly aggressive. We didn't eat because of the amount of flies in the restaurant and how close the toilets was to the tables."

My husband and I had a nice meal here last week. Clams with green sauce and then the paella with a great bottle of wine. Service was good and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

Menu del dia for 20 euros. Not the cheapest around, but pretty good for the area. I imagine the rents are quite high around here. Food was tasty enough, Nothing spectacular, but quite OK. This is a reasonable alternative to fighting your way into a...pinchos bar, but it isn't as interesting.

¡Fuimos felices!

the restaurant the hamlet (san sebastián) is a small family dining room that offers traditional Basque food. Among the varied culinary offers are dishes such as ox entrecot, roasted fish and seafood or cooked tksangurro and homemade desserts. the property opens every day of the week and has a pleasant atmosphere for guests.

The combination of a rude waiter who got aggressive after we accidentally put the prawn shells in the wrong basket, and supermarket quality ingredients, made this one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The asparagus came out of a can, mushy and flavorless, the cod with salsa verde was also cooked to mush and the sauce was watery, again flavorless. The dessert of the flan casero was burnt, bad caramel. They serve you in a high speed to get you out as soon as possible, always lurkingly keeping an eye on you. I highly recommend you spend your well earned money elsewhere.
