Great little Mexican gem in the heart of Sunderland.

Fabulous little place, well worth a visit. Food was delicious, staff were great. Will definitely be back.

Excellent food and service. The carne asada tacos were fantastic, and the refried black beans were great too. Wish this place had more signage outside to indicate where it is. It's easy to miss in its location. This place definitely deserves more business!

I was slightly concerned when arriving at this restaurant on a Friday evening and there not being any other customers inside. (Some more did arrive whilst we ate) My concerns were well and truly allayed when the food arrived. It looked delicious and the portion size was generous. We had the loaded chips to start, with refried beans, followed by a selection of the mains. The food was on a par with the best Mexican food I have previously eaten. It was fresh, tasty and had an 'authentic ' homemade feel to it. The choice on the menu is ample. I presume they have increased the offering since previous reviews. I went last night before the cinema and ended up vomiting afterward. I think it was due to the cactus salad I was recommended by the staff because they had no Mexican salad. there is however some nice Mexican lagers best part of the experience. the service was slow. waited 15 minutes for chips and guac which were good but you can't really get those wrong but still a small bowl of guac for the amount of chips. Then a further 30 mins for 4 tacos (which weren't pleasant) then a further 20 mins for the worst quesadilla I've ever been witness too.
