"Went to Mestizo for a birthday party on the Saturday, returned on the Wednesday for more. Great to see a separate vegan menu and the staff were willing to remove cheese or other non-vegan ingredients from other dishes on the normal menu. Very helpful staff and very attentive. First time around I had the enchiladas de papa with rojas sauce. Delicious! A little spicy for me but the black beans and the rice really helped me with that! Second time around I had the guacamole then the vegetables slow cooked in a banana leaf. DELICIOUS. We also had a cactus ! salad on the side which they made vegan for me. Cactus is amazing tasting! Very happy to be able to get hibiscus tea in London as well. All round a great experience and delicious food."

"Really enjoyed our visit to Munch following the change in ownership and would highly recommend it based on our dining experience. Lovely staff, great service, warm atmosphere and a delicious meal. Though we only had chicken crunchies, burgers and fries everything was served served hot,...fresh and and to a very high standard. The burger was the best I’ve had in a very long time, the chicken crunchies superb and the accompanying salad and delicate dressing delicious. Will definitely be ordering a takeaway during lockdown and ask others to support so we can dine in again as and when they reopen. Nice one Munch, thanks!"

"The restaurant and bar has a lovely atmosphere, and the cocktails are quite good. However, they were late in seating us, and it took 20 minutes for us to order drinks even after we seated ourselves. The food was disappointing; the seabass ceviche was overcooked and very fishy with little flavor. Overall, everything took a long time to arrive, and it was difficult to get the attention of the staff. The experience felt a bit chaotic and disorganized."

"By chance I had arranged to have lunch here on one of their new menu tasting days. This meant it was a little busier than you'd expect on a weekday lunch hour but also that everything was half price. Being guinea pig to their chefs was frankly fantastic and at £13 odd for a starter, two mains, a flat white and a peppermint tea you couldnt fault it. The food was fresh, imaginative and cooked to perfection. The fish taco starter reminded me of sunny days in California while the beef with chimichurri sauce left me dreaming of Argintina. This place claims to deliver classic British food I'd dispute this but say it's none the worse for it. Service was very friendly and quick enough without...read more"

"REVIEWED AS PART OF THE WORLD CUP OF BREAKFASTS:El Vergel describes itself as a Latin American and Mediterranean caterers. I’m reliably informed that the menu is mainly Chilean inspired, which isn’t top of most peoples lists when it comes to breakfast. However, the weekend brunch menu here is extensive and is served from 10-4 on Saturdays and Sundays. It is a little bit ‘out of the way’ and probably felt more so on a Sunday morning than it would do during the week. It is a 10 minute walk south of the foodie mecca of Borough Market and 5 minutes from arty Union Street The atmosphere is relaxed, concrete and wooden benches are offset by colourful artwork, graffiti on the walls...read more"

"The food was very good and the waitress who was serving us was very nice and chatty. Unfortunately, it took an extremely long time to get served (around 50 minutes for a main course) and a round of drinks we ordered never arrived, so we gave up after 25 minutes. I appreciate that it was a Saturday evening and very busy (there was a very large party who seemed to be getting most of the staff's attention) but it was disappointing as we would have been inclined to have ordered desserts/more drinks. Nevertheless I enjoy eating at Casa Mexicana and would do so again."

"This place is such a hidden gem and a must to visit if you are looking for breakfast / brunch in the exeter! I often come here and all non-ferrous friends I brought were blown away every time! The food always tastes incredible and is presented beautifully. The menu is a little bit small, but I personally don't mind because they have perfected any item instead! The food is always produced seasonal on site and the menu changes over the year to reflect this! The atmosphere of the place is beautiful and the servers are always super friendly! I have visited this place countless times and have the majority of the dishes offered all year round never even my choice was less than perfect! I would highly recommend to support this independent splendour!"

"I myself and the girls made a spontaneous boxing stop here after a weed went to foot on a fresh, sunny day. a change from our usual hunting in portobello, we have made the decision to try this place on the basis of some recommendations, and my own curiosity, which ran past it a few times. at the arrival we met from a warm and splashy guy who showed us on our window table. the interieur was simple, cute and cozy with a relaxed, unobstructed atmosphere. I had not expected much more than a standard sea (good close enough) caffe, especially when I spied the '2 courses for £6' menu. my appetit was 't too fertile and I felt a tad of two curses at midday intimidated. So I decided to use the black...read more"

"Looking for a really French restaurant in the neighborhood, as La Poule Au Pot in Belgravia was full, we came across Soif. The menu looked quirky and imaginative, although not your traditional French farewell of great, generous, rich and healthy dishes. We ended up in a beautiful, cozy, small, living and flowering place, great atmosphere, clever, tasty small plates and decent net (not much choice here) and a rather sophisticated and long wine list with average £60 per bottle. I didn’t like what I drank cloudy, vine, a French co-activist, “made at home” wine. Bizarr we noticed other tables around us who drink the same wine, probably by gentle steer from Soif staff, instead of finding their favorite wine on the menu. The conversation about the staff, during the evening and the restaurant filled, the staff was more stretched and not available. Overall an interesting experience, more of a hit and miss, which we back ca. £190 for 3 small plates of £15 each, a main of £25, dessert of £14 for 2 (delicious but on the small side), 2 shots of Calvados and the infamous £66 wine plus 12.5% service charge. I could come back, but after I made my wines homework and eat something on my way before dinner in Soif."

"To say I was disappointed with this restaurant is an understatement. I ate a spare rib from the starters that was very dry and tasteless. Then I had a duck dish which was described as duck with spring onions and ginger. I got a duck stew with sweet corn and one piece of ginger with two pieces of spring onion .... only recognisable because it was green. The duck was so dried out i couldn't swallow the meat. My food was very bland and inedible. When my food was removed from the table I was asked if I had finished ... not was there a problem with your meal? Every meal on the table was the same stew with a different meat. I paid 27 pounds for a very unsatisfactory, tasteless, dried out meal and went home to eat. I would not recommend this restaurant."

"The restaurant had a nice atmosphere and a friendly waitress. However, some of the food seemed to be pre-prepared and not heated properly. The dishes were also served out of order, causing some diners to wait longer than others. The most disappointing part was when a vegetarian in our group found meat in their dish, despite discussing the contents beforehand. The manager was aware of the situation but did not offer an apology or address the issue. Overall, it was a disappointing experience."

"Pleasant ambience. Charming, helpful waitress. However, some of the food, having been pre-prepared was not heated through thoroughly. Dishes also arrived really haphazardly, leaving some of us with food while others waited another 5 minutes or more. The worst aspect of the meal was when a vegetarian member of the group, despite a prior conversation about the contents of a paricular dish, found meat in his food. It was also disappointing that the manager, who clearly knew what was happening, slipped away without an apology or even an acknowledgement. Very disappointing."

"leave the al pastor 24h marinated pork. they were really good. the swarm was made with avocado, twill lime and the thinnest slicer of sweet ananas that perfected the balance. we had three and it was the perfect amount. the personal was great and I liked the music choice (sometimes that harassed me) a cocktail that ended everyone well. it is a good place to catch a place on the market. the ribs looked good, I'll try the next time."

"I was pleasantly surprised with the vegan menu from chiquito. they ask for the vegan menu and there is a good choice of appetizers, nets and desserts. I went to lunch with an omni friend who had the lunch menu 2 courses for 11 etc. and was a little frustrated to see that it vegan option for starter and dessert in the frame of this menu, but not a pornstar. after the conversation with the waiting staff they said that it should be a vegan option as pornstars and it was agreed that I have the vegarito vegan burrito as part of the lunch special. garlauch tostada was amazing and a huge part of great sharer, although it was for a person. and the churros were beautiful! vegarito haupt was really delicious and although I enjoyed it, I had not expected to have a vegan meat in the burrito, just begging and tearing as that was what I saw on the menu. the soy meat was beautiful and had a great taste."

"if they are looking for a restaurant in cg, I would like to encourage them to find a non-chain restaurant as they can find wahaca in london and secondly, I personally do not think that eating here is amazing or authentic. cg is filled with amazing unique vegan options and I personally would not waste my time in cg on a chain restaurant. eating in wahaca is super average and definitely doesn't taste like authentic Mexican foods I didn't expect in Europe anyway. this is a chain and as such I tried a few steadfasts and had similar badluster experiences. many vegan options marked clearly on the menu. guac and chips were good. tostada wasn't great. I wouldn't order the mais again. the small bean and rice pack with vegan cheese was great."

"The best Mexican restaurant in Swansea easily, everything made fresh. Every dish I had was delicious, the chicken and beef was tender and the mix of spices was perfect. Every element was brilliant there wasn't any part of any dish I had that wasn't excellent. Combine that all together and I'll definitely be back and I'll be recommending it to everyone I know."
"I can't recommend this place anymore! I have been in the Wahaca chains a few times and have always liked it, but this is the first time that I take off (via deliveroo.) we ordered: 3 species of tacos: steak cheese butter huhmilk battered fish sweet potato feta taquito crispy sweet potato side build her own fish taco from the child menu the presentation was stunning! the recyclable packaging they use is so clever that their tacos arrive in perfect condition as if they simply pass it from their kitchen to their table. everything tasted absolutely delicious and I have no idea how they are able to keep the fish so crispy during the delivery trip! the child build your own' kit was well packed and had a bit of all deconstructed taco, veggy sticks, salat, some tortilla chips and a prise grated cheese. it even came with an a4 picture sheet to color and a small kist of crayons! just like in the restaurant. Actually, I am as surprised how great everything was and I would order definitiw from them again. to round it off, they made 20% of everything on deliveroo and their hygiene rating is 5!"
