"This is the worst place I have ever been in 9 years living in London. I went there with a big group of friends and we got in for free, I initially thought that the staff was kind to let us in, but eventually it turned to be a real scam. First of all, as soon as inside you are presented with a cheap place with old and ruined furnitures, not to mention the quality of their cocktails and the crazy expensiveness. Cocktails in average are 13£, but they are literally watery fruit juices. As a group we spent a lot, probably 400£ given that we were 15 people. After some time inside, we managed to find a big table for us. We were there enjoying the birthday of one of our friend when the security guy came and basically obligated us to either put our jackets in the clock room or leave the place. We spent a lot and we did not deserve such a treatment. The guy was untreatable, we could not even orgie or ask questions as he would ignore us. He was very rude to all of us, therefore we decided to leave the place. As soon as we came out the place, some of our friends, all young ladies, urgently needed to go beck to quickly use the toilette. The same security guy, as well as the manager, an east European lady, did not let the girls in, just as a revenge because we left the place without paying extra money for a non-sense clock room. The manager literally started screaming at us in an authoritative way saying that they had to find another place to go to the toilette. They were very rude and unprofessional. If you want to enjoy good music in a nice environment with professionally made cocktails, go around the corner and there is an amazing place with cocktails between 9-12£, but please do not go to this club because it’s the worst place you can go."

Jesus. £15 cover charge for an average bar with drinks nearly twice that of the other bars around. We walked in for a quick drink and I’ve had to remortgage my house. Avoid at all costs

Two double gins and mixer was £27. I know it 's London but we found cheaper and better places just down the road. Music was okay though for the brief time we were in there. They were playing the consored versions of songs which I found a tad strange View menu

Over £40 for 3 rum and cokes! Should be served with lipstick as I would at least want to look pretty when I’m getting screwed over. Terrible place. Had all the atmosphere from a wake on Eastenders probably because everyone there was so gutted to be ripped off. Avoid

Pricey, terrible music and we have told we had to put our coats in the cloakroom for additional 3£ after 1 hour we were there and after paying a ludicrous entrance fee. Place was half empty anyway so decided to leave.. the 15 of us. Not the best way to have a great night! STAY AWAY! Better places around

Pros: Amazing food! Great environment Good service Cons: £10 entry fee for no reason Cocktails not so great for the price In the end we had fun but the £10 entry fee was never really justified as there was no live music or an even going on or even offer a free shot upon sitting down. Might have become a regular if the entry fee was dropped. View menu

Terrible experience here! They charged us £10 entry into the venue but our friends were charged £5 even though they were a body ahead of us. When we told them about the discrepancies they were unable to look into our issue and refused to refund us. I would not recommend visiting here you will be robbed. The only pro was that the security guard was really friendly and wished he had the authority to help.

Both the bouncers and manager are highly incompetent and unprofessional. When queuing for the venue I was told to stop smoking all the while men and women were separated (with priority for women over guys). I stopped upon request but was refused entry, whilst being challenged on said topic both bouncer and manager refused a valid reason or name. Poor place and poor service ruined an otherwise great birthday. Normally I’d not feel the need to review such places but due to the poor treatment I feel best to avoid such a terrible place. I’ve reported both the bouncers and managers to the respective line security industry authority. If a place could be given 0 this would be the place.

"A friend and I stumbled on to this neighbourhood restaurant by chance; no research, no booking, no expectations. We were then blown away by the quality of the food: wonderfully fresh fish, beautifully cooked. The service is also exemplary. I've always enjoyed calamari, but this was by far the best I've ever had: truly succulent and juicy. The mussels were almost as good, and the sea bream kept up the standard. The spiced quince with ice cream made a nice change from baclava in a Turkish restaurant (they still threw in some baclava). The owner, Tony, provides excellent recommendations — make sure you take them! He knows what's fresh that morning, and how his wife cooks it. The bill comes hand-written, and Tony forgot to include the wine (obviously I corrected him). I can't remember the last time a restaurant bill made a mistake in the customers' favour! No service charge is included, and it deserves a lot more than the usual 12.5%. This is a wonderful, old-fashioned restaurant, run by a charming old couple, committed to maintaining old-fashioned standards. The food is more than great and the prices more than reasonable. Service is personal, honest and responsive (providing Tony turns his hearing aid on). Tony warns you if anything you wanted was bought in, rather than home-made. Why don't unassuming but wonderful restaurants like this get Michelin stars?"
