"Excellent food but slightly overwhelmed by the multitude of different tastes. The service is adequate but a more owner‘s presence would be nice especially when there are only persons on tables in the restaurant.Very interesting, mainly local Pfalz wine selection.Parking costs are outrageous: Euros on an evening could offer a reduced rate at this time or the restaurant should redeem it.Atmosphere: Downlights too bright, too much rap music that might all be fine for a bistro during the day. But not after with the quality of the food and the prices they are asking"

I love the shop! Dennis Mayer is simply one of the best chefs in Germany! But not only that. The service staff is super friendly and courteous. The ambience is great and you can tell that the shop has one star from the food, but as a guest you won't be judged if you don't know your way around high cuisine! Love everything

We have courses a la carte plus greetings from the kitchen. Every single dish was excellent, imaginative, and excellently executed. Each something special. The bread basket with dip and butter was delicious. Service was friendly and attentive, but not intrusive. Price performance ratio reasonable. We will definitely be back and can recommend everyone to visit, especially if they want something special

We had the course menu. With the first three courses, there were five of us, nobody could decide which of the first three courses was their personal favorite, because the individual courses were all really excellent. Opinions differed over dessert. However, this was not due to the preparation but to personal taste. All in all an excellent menu and unobtrusive, very attentive staff. The restaurant really deserves the star

"After a very long time we had to go to Sushi again. We still knew Kaoru, but in the old premises in Q, hidden behind a passage. For a few years the restaurant has been sitting on Goethestraße and has increased. Saturday afternoon, still reserved online. The form asks where to sit. Selected Sushibar. At last, we are here. Be welcomed and I mention the reservation. She points to the bar, but at the same time says that we can sit where we want. There was enough space everywhere. Probably she was watching our asking looks when we saw the sushibar. After all, we still had the bar with waterway in front of us....This was always the attraction of the Kaoru that the ships were on one way over and could be operated. There was also a bit of overash effect. We had experienced it before. All right, so we sat at the bar. With the back to the street and in front of us the chefs prepared eager sushi. The ingredients are behind curved glass. The cooks served, depending on what they needed. Something interesting. We got the menus. Sushi in several variants are available. Dessert. Beer. We took all warm Sake and Asahi beer. I tried the Rainbow Roll, 8 reels with tuna, salmon, cancer, white fish. The Maki Set and the Beginner Set were ordered. Price between 10 and 18.50 Euro. When ordering, I asked if there is no more waterway. Unfortunately no, she said, and regretted it very much. After the reasons, we didn't ask them. The drinks came to the place. The Sake was very warm. The sushi came very soon after, at the same time for everyone. It looked appetizing and actually like the picture on the map. It tasted good too, all right. The payment was then somewhat lengthy, because none of the services were to be seen or it appeared only briefly between the tables. It's been a little. A family came in when we left. The first question of the great son to serve: have you changed? He also missed the waterway...."
