"This is one of the Restaurants I frequent in Westend, and it is always a good bet for a lunch when I'm after something with a little more staying power than a salad. Being in the Westend there is a predictably high quota of suits in there at lunch time, although the place is fit out as a more casual pub-type restaurant. The food is good, the portions are more than adequate, and the daily specials offer a bit of variety, although they do seem to offer a menu heavy on traditional food. The Chili con Carne was v. good the last time I was in there, but I have not heard of someone walking away disappointed. The service is friendly and efficient - it helps that the place is relatively small so it's hard for the staff to lose sight of you.It also has an outdoor area which is great for summer."

Even in TO GO times the team of „EPPSTEIN“ creates perfect dishes such as salmon and Rösti, aspergus, Grünkohl- a lot of meals that are just delicious.

Great to be able to sit outside during lunch having one great „perversion“: salad, green sauce and slices of Wiener Schnitzel amazingly good. Nice service, ok prices.

To go for lunch- just delicious If you want to enjoy classic food this is the the place. Food to go for lunch or dinner is really enjoyable. Typical Frankfurt food! Try the „hand cheese with music“!

Is located close by so decided to pop in for late dinner and drinks. Food prices were reasonable but service non-existent. Waited for about 20mins and no one showed up! Left, so can't comment on the food or drinks.

Eppstein Eck is a very local bar and restaurant.Their food and drinks are local and is not pretending to be touristy or hip.Just good food friendly staff good prices and good athmosphere.Has its own character and their only goal is to make you feel at home.I like it and take collegues from other countries there to show them the real Frankfurt.

Frequent this place weekly. Always been a good, filling meal. Good value for the price - great beers and wine. Friendly service is outstanding and the owner oversees almost every meal served. New tables outside are perfect for warmer weather - open Sunday's now, too. It is always our first choice for a quick but delicious meal. Can get busy so call ahead for a big group.

This is one of the more traditional restaurants in Frankfurts Westend. Not terribly remarkable, but friendly and with good local cooking. If you are looking for somewhere not too touristy to try local Apple Wine and Frankfurt 's famous Green Sauce (indeed a green sauce, made with seven traditional herbs and typically served with eggs and potatoes or a breaded Schnitzel) then this is the place to go. I often take foreign friends and business partners here. You can 't go wrong.

The place is really different to most of the rather slightly snobbish places in Frankfurt westend. Simple rustic setting, simple and “no frills” food, just perfect to spend a nice evening. The frankfurter Schnitzel (basically a Schnitzel with the typical Frankfurt green sauce was excellent, the green sauce fresh and finger licking delicious. The dessert, “Kaiserschmarren” was perfect! Prices totally acceptable. Service nice and friendly. Relatively “older” people there (average 50 plus ...and I am still wondering what (or who that very attractive end-fifties year old lady was waiting for at the bar...(she seem to be waiting...
