"Stumbled on this wonderful Portuguese restaurant when we were visiting a gallery on the same road. The food was incredible, fresh, delicious, great choice, good value, friendly staff offering great service. We had a fresh Dourada fish, Chicken Piri Piri, side Salad. All were sensational. Nice wines and fantastic coffee. Better than any Portuguese food I’ve experienced in the Algarve. I will certainly return for dinner and recommend to friends."

Great place, great service Nd the piri piri chicken was great. The pork was something else. The beef was very tender but the lamb was very special...not sure but I think it was cooked In port wine. Do do tender and tasty.

We visited this place just for coffee and (delicious) Portuguese custard tarts. But it was obvious from what the other diners were eating that they offer a huge range of delicious food, including lots of fish dishes. Pleasant seating both inside and on the terrace outside. View menu

We really enjoyed our visit to Estrela Bar. It was quiet on our arrival (Sunday lunchtime) but it soon filled up and is clearly a popular local destination. The restaurant is very pleasant, the service was very good. We enjoyed the food- I had great sardines! The helpings were very generous and the bill was most reasonable. We hope to return.

Took my nephew for a pre theatre meal. Lovely food and red wine, great service. Easy to get to from London Bridge station. My nephew was really pleased with my choice of restaurant as he has spent the summer in Portugal with his girlfriends family and speaks flaunt Portuguese already. Said he will return with his girlfriend as her parents always take them to other Portuguese restaurants in and around London.
