"My wife and I agree: Poorly cooked, poorly presented food. We left as soon as we could without finishing our plates. The risotto was gloopy mush. The sliced zucchini and Auvergne were the same. The fish served on them was totally over cooked. The pieces of scallop were identifiable only from their color and shape. I questioned the dish presented as my escargot crumble casserole starter because there were no escargots visible in it after the first forkful. The waitress recommended looking harder underneath. Before dinner drinks should have served as a warning. The waiter said he visited Munich several times when his sister lived there, after proposing a Warsteiner wheat beer on tap which I questioned. Warsteiner wheat beer? The branded beer glass he brought to show had “König Ludwig” and “Munich” printed on it. A well-known wheat beer if you’ve been to Munich. So not from Warsteiner. So I asked for the other tap beer offering, an Australian IPA. Australian IPA on tap? The waiter explained Australian tap connection systems are incompatible with those in Europe. A local brewery brings in a brewer from Australia for 2 months. He brews the beer in France. It is really French beer; “Australian style IPA made in France”. The small dining rooms have hard floors, walls and ceilings with the tables close to each other. It became uncomfortablely loud. The roofed patio is open to the inside dining areas, allowing cigarette smoke to pollute the inside. An interesting waterside location next to an old bridge wasted. Go elsewhere."
