"Our new favorite spot for breakfast! The pancakes topped with banana, blueberries, Greek yogurt, and maple syrup are simply delicious. The baba ganoush served on tangy flatbread, along with pancetta and a fried egg, is equally delightful. They also have a beautiful selection of teas and coffees. The staff is very friendly too!"

Cute little quaint café in Kendal. Separate vegan menu with approx 8 item's in total. We had the moving mountains burger with chips. Nicely cooked! Average competitively priced at approx £9.99.

I appreciate there were multiple vegan options and the service was good but thought the serving was too small for such an expensive price. Could be better. I didn’t feel satisfied after that meal. View menu

Impressive sister café to Brew Brothers, this new concept café is definitely to my liking! The atmosphere is enjoyable, and the staff were fantastic. The food was great, and I give it a thumbs up!

Eating is good and caffe is nice when they sit at the front near the windows, service was slow about 30 minutes for eating, but it was a Saturday midday so art to expect in a small venue. the vegan breakfast had only one piece toast on it, portioning are a little stingy for the price.

"The Moon Highgate is a family business, offering excellent vegan options, fabulous desserts, a wine list with clearly labelled vegan wines, so it is heaven for diners like me. We were celebrating as it was World Vegan Day, kicking off World Vegan Month, my 31st vegan anniversary and my husband had just finished Go Sober for October. We ordered a very nice bottle of Kintu Cabernet Sauvignon, whilst perusing the menu, a difficult choice, as everything sounded so good. I chose salt baked beetroot salad, beetroot vinaigrette and walnuts to start and hubby king oyster mushroom confit with polenta, both excellent dishes. My main course was roast Jerusalem artichokes, cavolo nero and baked spelt and pumpkin ravioli for hubby with sides of Chantenay carrots and a side salad to share. What satisfying autumnal dishes they were, totally delicious. I was ruined for vegan dessert options, so ordered the bitter chocolate ganache and caramelised pineapple so we could share, how wonderful to have that choice, they were scrumptious and heavenly. We had a quick chat with chef Leon, who said he felt a bit limited on vegan options, but having had some poor experiences over the last two weeks at other restaurants, I think he is underselling himself, I think he is very creative. What a great place The Moon is, highly recommended to other vegans when in the area, we will certainly be making a return visit. Updated from previous review on 2017-11-05"
