I suspended the judgement waiting for the emergence of the young and promising chef. In the meantime, they could emerge by lowering the prices that those yes... have emerged perhaps prematurely.

The tomato salad, baked pasta dish, bread and olive oil as well as wine list were great. However, all other dishes that we ordered sounded good on the menu but lacked flavour in reality (too bland). A bit sad as the expectations for this restaurant were pretty high. View menu

the new management is entrusted to very young, very good. we ate very well and thank the manager of the room for recommending me and made discover a craft beer Ragusana. the room is furnished in an essential way and with goto, beautiful also the outdoor space where I imagine will be pleasant to stay in the beautiful season.

Ideal place to spend an intimate evening in the heart of Modica, where the dishes of young chef Francesca are the right balance between tradition and innovation. Possibility of choice between the card and the tasting menu. In the room the sister Carla can welcome and entertain the guest with informality and grace. Dishes that have left us more the sign are certainly the Ditaloni pera, pecorino and bottarga and the baba with apricots, cream and rosemary. Special mention also for homemade bread. Surely a restaurant that over time will reserve nice surprises.

We were looking forward to a special meal for our last night in the south of Sicily and booked a table at Fattoria delle Torri. To our surprise we were greeted by the owner in a cold manner. We still do not understand why. We...decided to take the fish based Degustazione menus and with the exception of the first dish made of a choice of raw fish and seafoods, the remainder were cold or tasteless. Curiously enough, there was a locally designed gazpacho soup with a piece of dry bread crowned by a tasteless minuscule segment of unslated herring bathing in a cold base of cellular liquid.
