"After cycling from Thame to Princess Risborough, we stopped at The Fieldmouse cafe due to its excellent reputation. We ordered Coronation Chicken sandwiches and a cordial, which were tasty and made with excellent granary bread. Despite the delicious food, we were a bit disappointed that the sandwiches, salad, and crisps were served on a small plate, making it difficult to eat without spilling. The salad was also lacking, with browned lettuce and only a few pieces of chopped tomatoes and red onion. The selection of cheeses was very basic, not meeting our expectations. Despite these shortcomings, we still feel that The Fieldmouse deserves four stars for its flavorful food. We would consider returning, hoping for larger plates and fresher salad options."

Fantastic food and friendly team. Paul and Diane always make you feel welcome. As a regular would always recommend the Field Mouse.

The restaurant offers friendly service and has a selection of beautiful, affordable clothing and accessories. It is definitely a boutique worth checking out.

I go in when I need a good, homemade sandwich. It doesn't have a huge range but enough to satisfy your hunger, the selection of cheeses is good and the staff are lovely.

Today, I met a friend for lunch at a restaurant located halfway between us - she lives in Aylesbury and I live in High Wycombe. For my meal, I ordered a Brie, mango chutney, and apple sandwich on granary bread. View menu

Popped in here for brunch and I was really pleased. Service was excellent and so friendly! I noticed they knew most customers in there by first name. My sandwich was homemade and so fresh. Thankyou : from one happy customer.

Have had coffee here a few times to spread our custom around in Princes Risborough but it is my least favourite bar one. The owners are really pleasant and the coffee is good but it does feel like you are sitting in a clothes shop. The tables are very close together so any conversations are shared by all.

Have just come out of this very friendly, warm hearted cafe. The owners who also run it treat everyone with great respect and kindness. The coffee was wonderful and their cheese, which I bought to go home with for lunch, is to die for. I had forgotten how good cheese can taste after buying the supermarket stuff for far too long! The range of cakes looked very tempting indeed but I am trying to cut back!! View menu

I have visited this tea room several times and they offer a special for £6.50, which includes a sandwich of your choice, a hot drink, and a warm scone with clotted cream and jam, all made fresh while you wait. My favorite sandwich is the brie, apple, and mango chutney. All sandwiches come with crisps and salad. There is also a great selection of homemade cheeses for sale at the counter, as well as clothing, trinkets, and homewares in the tea room and upstairs shop. It is a cozy and intimate tea room experience, with friendly staff, and definitely worth a visit.

It is so rare to be able to browse in a small shop without being pressurised to buy. Although I originally went in looking for bamboo socks ,I was delighted to find a couple of long sleeved, viscose tops which I came across by chance and which will be great for layering at under £10 each and made in the UK. I also agree with another reviewer that there is a great selection of jewellery. It's the sort of shop where I could have come away not having bought anything, and not felt awkward. I hadn't realised that the shop also served coffee and cake until I was inside, but intend to return and sample this next time!
