"Disappointing stay here. Room was charged at £195 but was of the £80-90 quality. They can charge this much because of the scarcity of accommodation servicing the nearby Cissbury Barns wedding venue. Better use of money would be to stay in Worthing and get a taxi. Room, especially bathroom, no where near the quality required to justify the cost. Rooms: Bedding not good enough. Pillows were poor quality, and only one sheet on the bed. Bathroom had smashed tiles around the loo and the shower was in the bath. For £195 a night, customers expect a modern wet room with a walk in shower. Food drinks: Food was surprisingly good considering how average the rest of the venue was."

An absolutely wonderful place to stay or simply to eat at. My wife and I stayed here 4 years ago on our wedding night, and since been back for a wedding and also for a meal today. The service rooms and food have been amazing every time. It's just a lovely little place, slightly tucked away from traffic and noise and a nice place to get away. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5

Interesting manor house hotel near to Worthing that a friend advised me he enjoyed a stay at recently. Recommending it to myself to check out. On slopes of South Downs. Saw it from outside as I had previously there passed by. Looks very nice indeed. Rooms: Appear to be very nice from what I've been told by my friend who stayed here. Nearby activities: Lots of interesting attractions advised of nearby. Safety: Well run place. Walkability: Good walkability to nearby bus services. Food drinks: Reportedly quite good for a 3 star hotel.

Recently stayed in Kilmore room which was unfortunately dirty and run down. As soon as we walked into the room the lamp shade in the corner of the room fell off. Clearly it was broken but hadn't been replaced. We noticed a photo on the wall with a broken frame. There were dirt and dust marks in the main bedroom and bathroom. There were stains on the curtains. Parts of the bathroom were falling apart and clearly in disrepair. This place has the potential to be great if the necessary repairs are carried out. However, the staff were friendly and the location is good but for £100+ I would expect a higher standard of rooms.
