"I went here with my parents, because it is not far from where I live and we wanted to try Franconian cuisine. It was a great find, even though I didn’t completely love the interior design of the restaurant.. the food was really good! We...had the „Schäufele“ (it’s like pork knuckle, except that this is a part of the pork shoulder, but it also comes with a crispy skin), „Münchener Schnitzel“ and „Schweinefilet in Champignonrahm“. All dishes are absolutely to be recommended! My favorite was the Schäufele and the Schweinefilet. Service was fine as well."

Food was mega! Definitely freshly prepared. Tasteful and visual Top Mega friendly service. Centrally located, but not on the tourist mile between residence and age main bridge. I can especially recommend the saucer with sour wort and clot or the butter soaking table lace. View menu

We were again guests of the hotel and also this time you don't read it to eat in the restaurant, all top, very friendly service (Chefin) the food is a palate mouse, (Schatzi), the cook even prepares 5 min before chef a dessert. In this inn, the guest is still the king. We're coming back

There are vegan dishes on the map in the Franciscan and a vegan menu after the season with appetizer, main dish and dessert. My girls gave me that for my birthday. I didn't know that and was surprised how good and tasty that was. I was there several times and was always very satisfied with my vegan options.
