Funivia Laveno - Menu

Nice place to have drink or coffee after your hike/ride up the mountain. Cant really judge anything but the aperol spritz and the view, which both were amazing :

This is the resto on top of the funivia Lago. Spectacular views. Friendly service and free wifi. Food is good but not special, but hey the views make this a perfect stay here!

So surprised with an excellent value set menu lunch at what can be described as a tourist trap, with no other choices. Good wholesome home style Italian food, great salads and wonderful homemade pasta. Superb value. View menu

restaurant with breathtaking views very well maintained location, well clean bathrooms, very pleasant rooms very kind staff, attentive, and available quality of dishes and prices in the average. We are at the top of the cable car. I'd come back.

Today we stayed at lunch in this restaurant. provided that you arrive at the cable car, from the terrace where the tables are arranged to have lunch you enjoy a breathtaking view. the staff is very kind. you eat discreetly. prices are a little too much.

View is amazing , the atmosphere exceptional. Pizza average, not the original. Fritto misto delicious. Baked potatoes also tasty. Lasagna horrible a lot of cheese, very heavy, no connection to the original one. Wine also good . altogether, is worth the visit. View menu

We had a stunning lunch in the restaurant. Antipasti for 4, homemade Lasagne Bolognese, mixed salad, Pork Schnitzel with potato and the portions were plentiful. Beautiful Aperol and beer surrounded by an equally beautiful horizon of Lake Maggiore. Staff were friendly and accommodating. A must visit, especially on a clear day!

At the top of the funicular ride are a couple of eating places and we stopped at the snack bar/cafe iL Deltaplano which has wide views from it 's outside veranda. It sells tourist souvenirs as well as drinks and snacks. The friendly staff were really good and we sat admiring the views whilst having our drinks. Other than a bit of background music it 's a peaceful spot and cooler than down by the lake. It wasn 't busy the day we visited and there was no rush to move on. With reasonable prices (Considering everything needs to be transported up the hillside), and panoramic views, this is a great spot to sit and relax.

As the Stresa Mottarone cable car is closed , the Funivia Laverno seemed good fun and only €5 e/w you can walk up or down if so so wish, so I was pleasantly surprised with the restaurant at the top of the ride. There is a lovely sunny terrace which was not very busy as it was still off season and covered seating inside . The menu is nothing fancy but the food was pretty good and well priced for the mountain top location. The lasagne alla bolognese was a very generous portion , meaty and very tasty. The pork shin was enormous and served with some fried potatoes , a mixed salad provided some welcome vegetables to the delicious meal. Everything was perfect even the view over the lake. Wine was...
